I grew up around skateparks. Broken bones, bloody knees, trying the same thing over and again until you finally got it. They were good proving grounds for life. Places you learned to fall and get back up, places you learned to make friends, places you’d discover the rewards that came with not giving up. It was a lot of fun this summer on a few occasions to revisit those spaces, this time with a camera in hand. Here’s a few shots from one of those nights. Just wanted to take a moment also to thank so many of you who continue to encourage and inspire me in so many ways. Thanks for your words. They mean more than you know.

A few captures from an off-the-cuff last minute decision to catch sunset in the Alberta badlands earlier this summer. In the midst of all the hurry and all the things this life has to offer, don’t forget to stop and take it all in.

As I stood on the cliffs by the Long Point Lighthouse I looked over the breathtaking rugged coastline around Twillingate. From above you can easily see that it goes on forever, and in some places, it looks rather crazy and unique. I knew I had no choice but to capture it 🌊

The Emerald Falls campsites along the Berg Lake Trail offer peek-a-boo views of Mount Robson and the falls you can wake up to right through your tent door.
