#TAKEOVER : 'I’ve never tried Canon-cameras before, so overall it was a great experiment and I really enjoyed shooting with this new system. It took me almost no time to understand the menu and settings. I really liked the color scheme (warm and vivid) right out of the RAW files. I also absolutely loved the RF-lenses. Didn’t think it would happen but I was nicely surprised by the performance of the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 IS STM lens, plus it’s very light and small compared to the other lenses. I also tried the adapter with a variable ND-filter, which is something I would love to see available for other cameras as well.' . . .
#TAKEOVER : 'I prefer to shoot in the evening, as I enjoy the lights and the whole evening atmosphere. In my opinion everything becomes prettier and more romantic with evening lights. And also more relaxing, since there is less information to process, I think... Most of the time I use settings for long exposure, so usually it’s a wide open aperture (f/7.1 - f/4) and slow shutter speed (4sec - 30sec). There are also situations when it’s not that dark yet and I want to capture some light in the sky or sunset, so for those situations I prefer to shoot underexposed and handheld (depending on the light, settings may vary, ISO 100-500, aperture f/7.1- f/1.8 if I have the fast lens with me; shutter speed 1/80-1/40). My best tip? Always try to frame your shot beforehand, as the composition is the key. Try to find interesting angles rather than taking a photo from a standard point of view.' #CanonNederland#Amersfoort#Koppelpoort#LivefortheStory Photo credit: @een_wasbeer (Canon EOS R & EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM - 30 sec, f/7.1, ISO 100). #LongExposure#Cloudy#Sky#City#Reflection#CanonPhotography

Some flowers are too pretty not to share. I shot this photo of a hibiscus-flower in the beautiful botanical gardens of Aarhus, Denmark.
I made a poll on Stories where I asked you to guess what I had photographed for the theme “Gathering” from the Spring Food Photography Challenge from @thelittleplantation.
You know me quite well and most of you chose the right option. And here it is: Cake & Coffee.
Thank you for answering! 😍
Gathering for me is sitting around the table with a cake and coffee. That brings me sweet memories from growing up with my family in Brazil. Anytime the family would get together, we would in the afternoon sit around a table, have coffee and someone would have baked a cake.
• One of the first things people mention when they visit this city is the unique atmosphere. They usually tell me it’s calm, relaxing & pleasant for a capital city. I’m always fascinated to hear that, since I usually think quite the opposite about the city centre 🤔😆 But of course there are some hidden, more quiet areas where you truly come at ease.. I’m always on a quest to find those! 🍃 • | Amsterdam, The Netherlands
