Столько есть всего, о чем надо подумать!
Зачем забивать себе голову тем, чего уже не вернешь, — надо думать о том, что еще можно изменить 😉

  • International guests visit the RCERO Ljubljana mechanical biological treatment plant on their zero waste study tour of Slovenia organized by Zero Waste Europe on May 8, 2019.

The image was taken on assignment for The Guardian Cities section about the very successful zero waste strategy of Ljubljana. The article can be found here: https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2019/may/23/zero-recycling-to-zero-waste-how-ljubljana-rethought-its-rubbish

Ljubljana is the first European capital to commit itself to zero waste goal. Fifteen years ago, it was lagging behind the rest of Europe when almost all waste went to the landfill. Now the city recycles 68% of its waste and produces only 115 kg of residual waste per capita annually. As much as 95% of that residual waste is further processed into recyclable materials at the RCERO mechanical biological treatment plant and now, 15 years later, less than 5% of it - what’s unrecyclable -  goes to the landfill. The city has a strategy in place. From door to door separate waste collection, to underground containers, Voka Snaga’s assistence at major public events, two very popular civic amenity sites, a Reuse center, two BERTs - packacging-free household goods vending machines, other packing-free shops popping up all over town, to a growing circular economy.
