Fully immersed in @nickcaveart's art exhibition: UNTIL; particularly the Kinetic Spinner Forest! At this moment, all I could think of was how pretty this installation is and that I could totally watch these things spin and reflect off the walls all day! But as I read more about it, I was even more mind blown! —
If you saw our previous picture in the Carriageworks Art Gallery you'll know that this is part of the current exhibition by Nick Cave based on eliminating gun crime and inequality in the U.S.A.
Have you ever seen anything like it before, we havent?
Blown away by the awesomeness of Nick Cave’s installation work @carriageworks today, what an absolute privilege to see this in person, highly recommended if you’re in Sydney. I think I’ll be walking down to see it again this week before it closes #nickcave#carriageworks
Him Vs Me
It's a lazy saturday. He was watching some documentaries and reading up on black holes. He was reading it with so much interest. I asked him what really is a Black Hole⚫? 🤔
Him: Do you know how the Sun🌞 works?
Me: What do you mean how the Sun works? Sun does not work. Only human does. Haha😆
Him: Well, how does it stay lit🔥? What makes the sun keep burning bright?
Me: Oh lord! I don’t know.🙄 Him: Ahh! You should understand how the Sun works. Hang on! Let me find a good documentary for you in Youtube. You know in 5 billion years, the sun will begin a helium-burning process.
Me: Nooooo!🤯🤯 I don’t wanna watch anything. I am not super smart to fathom the process.
Consistent with her recent interest in ‘folding’ space, Grosse has utilised more than 8,000 square metres of fabric, draped and knotted in direct response to Carriageworks’ architecture. Using a spray gun, Grosse has created a multilayered painting on the surfaces and folds of the fabric, resulting in a sublime and otherworldly environment.” Copy & paste this URL 👉🏻http://carriageworks.com.au/events/katharina-grosse/ 💞💞💖 #rainbow#installation#fabric#colours#folds
MAD MONDAYS SYDNEY @themadfeed 👩🏻🌾👳🏾♀️👩🦰🧕🏼👨🍳🧔🏼👨🌾👩⚖️🐝🐚🌾🌿 - is an evening talk series designed for and by the restaurant industry that convenes on the traditional day of rest for restaurants. Founded by Chef @reneredzepinoma in Copenhagen, MAD Mondays - Danish for ‘food’ - is a not-for-profit organization that assists and inspires the cooking community to make a difference. The way I viewed my role as a chef was completely revolutionized when I had the opportunity to engage with @themadfeed MAD community and @reneredzepinoma forward-thinking values. I realised that being a chef went far beyond the plate. MAD encourages all of we cooks, chefs, restaurateurs, floor staff, sommeliers to deeply consider how our actions and decisions can positively affect social change in the world. My MAD Mondays’ Sydney colleagues, Australian Project Manager @bellenapier + @pre_dessert#NancyLee ( both in image ) + I can’t wait to present the 2019 MAD Mondays Sydney sessions in August + November @carriageworks Following on from MAD Mondays’ recently published book ‘Dispatches’, the August 2019 MAD Monday will start a dialogue about the countless ways food connects us to each other. There are many stories to be told of migration of ingredients, people and ideas, all of which weave together our rich culinary histories and cultures. If immigration is fundamental to good food, how do those across the food chain weigh in on broader conversations? As always, thank you @reneredzepinoma@melshannondipietro for so generously sharing the knowledge and thank you @carriageworks for your continued support. Congratulations also @carriageworks on delivering such a robust and relevant 2019 Food Program, so excited to be a part of it all 💥💥💥👉👉👉Link in my bio for all the details #madmondayssydney#MAD6#carriageworks#carriageworksnightmarket
