How is everyone’s weekend going? Doing anything fun. I baked some swirly bread today and now we are off to my brother’s football game. I love going to the football games in the fall reminds me of when I was in high school. I was a cheerleader which I don’t think I have ever told you guys haha so going to the games is always fun to think back on that time.
SPICY BBQ CAULIFLOWER WINGS 🔥. OK guys, this is seriously comfort food at its finest. These cauliflower wings are super tangy, tantalising spicy, reassuringly crunchy and outrageously tasty! Cauliflower fried rice! .
This is the second time I made this. First time, I didn’t really like it! I think adding meat (ground turkey) made this edible for me and the husband! (The kids also tried it maybe next time they’ll eat more than a spoonful?) 😂 Should’ve added more veggies but figured I already put a whole cauliflower in ! 😝 It can’t need more veggies than that!!??
Brown meat, add onions and veggies, add cauliflower (processed in the food processor), and cook until cauliflower is done. Season to taste. .

Very tasty, I was quite impressed with the flavors. I made two kinds because my picky eater of a boyfriend isn't on board with all the flavors and ingredients that I enjoy.
I'm really excited to start experimenting more in the kitchen again. This coming weekend I plan to devote my Sunday to prep...like legit prep all our food for the week. I already prep, but it's kind of half-assed lol.
As the days go by and I am increasingly feeling better, I am so motivated to start implementing new routines.
What is more important if you are implementing new routines in your life is to take your time. Don't force yourself to do anything, don't rush it, and if you don't enjoy doing it, don't do it! You will set yourself up for failure by doing any of those things. Try a little bit at a time...rushing in can be so overwhelming, especially if you suffer from OCD, Anxiety, ADD, etc.
It's really true, thing's don't just happen overnight, goals are not reached in the blink of an eye. Step by step, little by little. Take breaks when you need, and don't pressure yourself❤
Wild night with creamy wild rice cauliflower soup! 😍
Saw a similar soup on the r/veganrecipes subreddit (the best subreddit) and knew I had to make my own version. I simmered some wild rice which takes about 1 hour to fully cook and is 1 part rice 4 cups water. You can cut down on cooking time by soaking the wild rice overnight beforehand.
Meanwhile though, I boiled cauliflower, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic. After these were done cooking, I used my immersion blender to blend about 80% of it leaving just 20% or so of the soup in chunky vegetable form. I then added cumin, cilantro, thyme, mustard powder, paprika, cayenne, turmeric, sea salt, black pepper, 1 can of reduced fat coconut milk, a whole lot of nutritional yeast, and fresh lemon juice. By then the wild rice was just about finished so I added that in at the end. This soup felt deliciously complete with some soy #bacon bits as a topping.
My quick version of cauliflower shrimp fried rice. Great little after work dinner.
I actually baked the shrimp separately so that I don’t overlook them in the pan with everything else.
Toss the peeled shrimp in toasted sesame oil, tamari sauce, rice vinegar, grated garlic, red pepper flakes, salt & pepper. Roast at 400 F for 10-15 minutes.
In the meantime, sauté the cauliflower rice in the same flavors, including ginger & a finely chopped onion.
Scramble two eggs in the pan to coat the cauliflower rice. Add in the shrimp, sesame seeds & chopped scallions.
OK FINE there was no placenta in @michaelapodo secret recipe (thankfully) BUT her cauliflower pita recipe is REAAAAL good & she does love a good 'ole placenta face serum so you'll probably want to click the link in bio for allllll the details 🤣
Two attempts at making #cauliflowerpizza without pressing it through a cheese cloth first, made it more soggy than pizza-y despite it looking good. The first time I made it was almost ten years ago with my beloved kitchen utensils. This time it was to try to get the tall boy to eat #cauliflower without gagging. #pizza

Pork rind crusted pork chops
Loaded mashed cauliflower
Crush your pork rinds (i used about 3 cups to crush up)
Dip your pork chops in an egg, then dip in pork rind crumbs.
Bake at 375° for 30-36 minutes
2 cups of spinach
1tbsp of water
2 tbsp of butter
Simmer til done(add 1 tbsp of ACV when done)
Frozen mashed cauliflower, heated in the microwave lol so easy and just added bacon, cheese, sour cream, and butter.
Slice and clean jalapenos.
Mix 1/4 cup cream cheese
2 tbsp of cooked bacon crumbles
2 tbsp of sharp cheddar cheese
Melt and mix well.
Fill each jalapeno up and bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes .

✳Para la masa:
✔ 1 coliflor
✔ 2 huevos, si son chicos 3
✔ 2 cucharadas de queso en hebras light
✔ sal, pimienta, nuez moscada.
✳Arriba le podés ponerle salsa de tomate, queso , orégano o lo que a vos más te guste.
¿Cómo se hace?
✔Lavar el coliflor y luego procesarlo en crudo, luego incorporarle los huevos, el queso y los condimentos. Volver a procesar y mezclar todo muy bien. ✔ Colocar la mezcla en una pizera de silicona o una de teflón ✔ Llevar a horno moderado hasta que esté dorado. ✔ Retirar, colocar la salsa de tomate, el queso y los condimentos ✔ Hornear nuevamente hasta que el queso se derrita.
Y a disfrutarla!!!! .

mmmmmm Happy Hump Day!! •
Sorry for being inactive the past few days, college classes gets stressful man!!! It’s also important to note sometimes i’m eating between classes and my meals aren’t the most photogenic! I’m still eating though and that’s what’s important 🤗🤗 This is sorta like a food diary for today (there’s another insta word for it but i legit blanked typing this caption LOL!) So for breakfast I had some great oats&almond milk topped with banana, peanut butter, apple, and honey! #SOGOOD I got to go out to dinner with my sisters and dad tonight so for an appetizer we got buffalo cauliflower 😍😍 Then for dinner i got a grilled cheese with bel paese cheese, prosciutto, pear, and basil pesto. It was delicious!!! then some tomato soup as a side 🤤🤤 Such a great fall meal! Things I ate not pictured: veggie chips, a slice or two of the bread at this restaurant (so fluffy), and a mini cannoli! Like what was i going to say no to a free cannoli @ 5 in the afternoon #thxcampmin •
Eating today has taught me that you just need to enjoy the small things in life. Like yeah it wasn’t the healthiest most balanced day, but it’s like i am going to be like that tomorrow again. Now that’s truly balance! •

Cauliflower chaffle pizza for lunch today, I’m so glad this worked as I thought I was going to lose it getting it out of the waffle maker. -
I made up a mix of 2 1/2 cups cauliflower, 1 cup mozzarella, 2 eggs, 1 Tbsp Parmesan, 1 tsp baking powder and Italian herbs, garlic powder & salt. Wizzed all together in the blender then added to the waffle maker, once cooked i scarily transferred to the air fryer, at that point it broke down the middle so I patched it up with some mozzarella before adding my pizza toppings and cooked for 5 mins. The air fryer made it crispier and a little easier getting it out onto the plate. Tastes so good, apart from the crispy baby spinach 😂
Also have a bit of batter left so will make some more to freeze. .
Yesterday morning I came home from work to find Silas had woken up feeling ill and with a low grade fever. He became extremely lethargic, flushed, blood shot eyes, and was complaining of a headache, sensitivity to lights, and an stomach ache.
I believe western medicine has some benefits (to a point, and with countless needless additional chemicals). With a 105 fever I gave in & gave him children’s ibuprofen to reduce the fever. Within 3 hours he spiked again, and at the 6 hour mark I gave him another dose to reduce the fever while cooling him with a lukewarm bath and towels in between.
This made him feel well enough to continue drinking fluids, but refusing foods.
As we all know, masking the symptoms will not cure the root of the problem. But after a hectic weekend with my computer crashing and catching up with work, I chose the quick and temporary fix.
Instead of taking the initial time to help him heal naturally, I went the easy route to meet my own deadlines. It prolonged his illness, made me sleep deprived, & riddled with guilt. Worst of all? IT DIDN’T HELP.
Doctors wanted to give antibiotics without knowing cause of infection, or if it was bacterial or viral. NO 👎
I used oregano oil & coconut oil on the bottom of feet, several applications. *CAUTION: oregano oil is EXTREMELY potent. Test on your skin before applying to a child, can cause skin to burn & irritation if NOT diluted PROPERLY*

Roast Cauli & Chickpea Salad. I’ll pop the recipe for this on the website. But you could change up the general formula of this salad. Make it super middle eastern and go for fresh mint and coriander and a tahini yoghurt dressing, or go a little Indian and spice up the chick peas with garam masala and lemon. It’s so good and an added bonus, my children have decided they like this one. Winning!
