If you can't appreciate a good butter tart at 1am. Why are you alive? Why didn't you die in the plague? Can you die in the new one?
K. Cause. Fuck. This is beyond the understanding of our known universe. No, not butter tarts. I'm talking the kind of person who can not fathom the godlyness that is, butter tarts. I'm done with you butterless tartin' tartless fucks!
Like for real... In the beginning... there was nothing.. blank blackness for all eternity. Then L. Rob Hubbard gave us butter tarts, Top Gun, with or without pecans too. Like jesus fucking christ. Eat a damn butter tart once in your life.

I want to do something different this year: following the example of some of my friends, I will take a few minutes every now and then to write about what I'm currently reading, as long as I find it worthy of praise. Coincidentally, the first book I read this year deserves such attention. Now, I love biographies, and I love them twice as much when they are about music, but this one is quite atypical: Hitmaker presents the history of the music industry through the eyes of the most successful head of Sony Records, the one and only Tommy Mottola we sing about everytime "Cherchez la Femme" is playing. Mr. Mottola is, make no mistake, my kind of person: he is driven to the point of obsession, and too optimistic for his own good. If enthusiastic kind of people get on your nerves, this is not a book for you. But this is, in fact, an important reading for all those who deeply love music, and are interested in understanding what goes beyond what the artists themselves reveal to the public. And boy, this book contains stories about all our favorites! Like, everybody! From Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam, to Céline Dion and Mariah Carey, to George Michael and Michael Jackson... you name it, and it's all there! I'm happy this was my first reading of the year, as it has the positive, inspiring testimony of persistance that is great to get back to our routines with renewed strength! Last but not least: my book was a Christmas gift from @juliencassarino, so thank you once again! 😘📚 #reading
