As you guys may have seen/followed on our story, Hamza and James completed their London to Paris bike ride today!! .
Unpredictable weather, uphill climbs and 170 miles later they made it to the beautiful Arc de Triomphe! We’ve managed to raise nearly £3,300 for the family run health clinic in Bangladesh that provides free healthcare to those in need! .
Thankyou all for your generous donations and continuous support! And those who haven’t donated already please, please do! This whole trip we have paid for ourselves so you can be assured all the proceeds raised will go towards the clinic! ❤️
• @SPDsingapore is a charity that helps people with disabilities and integrate them into mainstream society. They have over 20 programmes that encompass therapy, vocational training, and social service support.
Terence, pictured in these photos, studied interior design in the polytechnic. When he was 23, he contracted Viral Encephalitis, a viral infection to the brain and lost his ability to walk, speak and control of his bladder.
Terence had to relearn everything at our day activity centre – walking, speaking and holding the pencil to draw again. He is one of the many individuals supported by SPD. •
You can watch his story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwENuQxv18I
SPD is initiating the Left Hand Challenge to encourage individuals like you to step into the shoes of a person with disability and overcome one day-to-day challenge.
Post a photo/video of you doing a daily activity using your non-dominant hand, such as eating or writing. Tag @spdsingapore and #SPDlefthandchallenge .
Also, kindly consider donating to their charity.😊 Every dollar counts! You can find the link to donate in the @spdsingapore profile.

More good news! 6 year old Malak from Iraq was successfully treated as part of our #GIVE campaign.⠀
About Malak: She was diagnosed with tetralogy of fallot- a congenital heart defect. Malak’s condition meant her lips and skin turned blue whenever she cried and she constantly suffered from respiratory tract infections. But with your donations, she has undergone a successful heart operation last month in Bangalore, India with the support of our Bangalore Representative.⠀
Her mother had tears in her eyes when she asked us to pass on this message: “I was very worried about the health of my little girl and went to many places to get help. I was told there was a lot of risk involved with surgery. But we came to India with immense faith in God, and today, Malak has been given a new life. And it is because of you all. Our prayers are with each and everyone who made this possible”⠀
To all who have supported our #GIVE campaign, your donations have given Malak the gift of life - thank you! Keep an eye on our page as we keep you updated on the continued impact of your donations 😊⠀
Today we went to a local Charity event in aid of @haveringmind
I only found out about it this morning so really didn’t know what to expect but we had such a lovely family day with the added bonus that all entrance profits went to our local council to support mental health.
Holly loved seeing all the classic cars and going on all the rides, I’ll be putting some videos in my stories if you want to check them out.
