  • Holyyyyy 🤤🤤. This dish was 5 points for a HUGE portion. I ended up eating the whole thing bc I haven’t eaten since about 9:30 and your girl was starving. 5 points for a cup of angel hair pasta. Then I added some shrimp, a little over a cup of frozen vegetables, and two tablespoons of soy sauce!! I actually love cooking my Chinese food as opposed to ordering it out. Yo #Dumpsters! We are days behind on our Friday recap, so we’ll keep it simple by saying that we love you all and are grateful for you showing up day after day to eat with us! The #BaoAndArrow got sold out in 2 hours, as usual, but we also had our Beef, Carrot and Onion Bao and a new Shiitake and Savoy Veggie Bao in hand. If you ate with us that day, let us know how you liked it! Next time, we haaaave to get more than 30lbs of that fine @bowandarrowauburnmeat! Also, the wait was longer than we like to see, so please forgive us for the extra time it took to get you out of the door. We cannot offer 3 different bao at one time and be efficient. We’ll keep it simple moving forward with 2 per day.

This week, we’ll be open normal hours at our storefront, and will be taking a break from our foodtruck, as we are continuing to recover from the craziness of last week (and weeks on end of busyness and overwork), and learning how to balance growth, rest and family (new baby) at the same time. Thank you for hanging in there with us as we figure out how to do normal life while tackling as efficiently as possible budding momentum and increasing demand. It’s so fun and fulfilling, but definitely exhausting! Haha! 🥟💕🥟💕

Court over with early..I plead guilty to The supposedly me not having my seat belt on. Which it was. It was just on my waist. But they dropped the driving without license charge. So now I have to pay $179. By May 29th. I'm about to start getting all these charges out the way. So I can have like ✓5✓ Cars in my name. All mines . You feel me. But after Leaving that side. I had to go to the  Chinese✓Buffet✓ After speaking Some knowledge to the parking lot.... What was funny. This ✓Yellow✓ Bone who use to have a crush on me in 9th grade. But I always blew her off. But when we got older. We got cool. But She Figured I was a Hoe.... Than Got in a relationship When I had came out of jail.... So I had blocked her. For me seeing her from years ago ... She doesn't even look the same... Them buffets.... Been handling her...... But her Face... I so remember....I was going speak. But she look Uncomfortable. I looked so good... Icey... Fit... I had hair as. freshman.... And Just living.... Hey though lady... Glad to see you alive Gina I called her... ✓Yellow $tone✓ I'm keeping up with myself. She use to be bad......😱😕😑😏😏😏😏.... But enjoyed my convo on the phone with bae. Speaking some fly shiiishh... Putting the restaurant on game lol. A good day off!! PayDay tomorrow, And Thursday.   • Vinegar braised ribs, the house speciality at The Cozy Place restaurant. This mom and pop restaurant serves up delicious authentic Chinese dishes. Definitely try the ribs which were so tender, coated in a sweet and tangy caramelized sauce. We also loved the fried squid with chilis.

  • Have you heard of @projectjade_ ? Jesse, a college student that attends Johns Hopkins University, started Jade in his dorm room. He invited friends over, prepared a three course dinner, and served the Chinese food he ate growing up. Not only did he add his own personal flair to each dish but he even made a counter top for the pop-up! Jade ended being a huge hit with his college clientele and he was about to do another Jade pop-up the following week until JHU’s resident life shut his pop-up down (we can talk about how uncool that was later). Luckily enough, he was able to bring back Jade and was able to hold it at his friend’s apartment. So happy it came back because I got to attend Jade’s reopening. I tried out all the dishes. The tofu was fried perfectly, the scallion pancake was definitely crispy and flaky, and the eggplant with garlic sauce had good texture. What i love about Jesse is that he’s constantly trying to push himself to become a better cook and is exposing others to the dishes he ate growing up. I would love to go to one of his pop-ups again and try the other dishes he creates! I hear that Jesse is going to be at @rhousebaltimore from May 28th - June 2nd so come out and support @projectjade_!

These 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 (牛肉油泼面) are the best hand-pulled noodles I’ve had in London! This is the first solo restaurant from Chef Wei Guirong, of Xi’an Impression fame. The place is more comfortable than her previous spots. But the star here obviously is the food!

👉 The 𝗫𝗶’𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗲 is a cold dish that’s perfectly spiced and tingled in all the right places. Another favourite was the 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵, filled generously with pork and prawn, in the most delicious of chicken broth that will cure any colds 🤧.

We also had their signature 𝗫𝗶’𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗽𝗶 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗲, which was stellar (more on that later).

    We also had their signature 𝗫𝗶’𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗽𝗶 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗲, which was stellar (more on that later).

    The only dish that didn’t impress was the 𝗫𝗶’𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 which lacked in flavour, with buns on the tough side.
