Having a short recap on this year also clearly shows that umbrella photos became my favorite type of street photography throughout 2019. And I know that many of you are sharing this 'passion' but the overall question is WHY?! 👀😂

  • Alex Lawther here making teenagers swoon with his top drawer “Back-Acting”.
Or... it might be they are swooning because we shot this whole scene at *real* dusk!
(I mean who knows what weird crap Gen-Z are into these days. Rule-34 this you little Tide Pod eaters).

Ten film to swego rodzaju katharsis Shia LaBeoufa.
To spirala głęboko skrywanych emocji i wiwisekcja więzi rodzinnych. Sundance'owe kino to ostatnio chyba moje ulubione i jeśli ktoś czuje te klimat to "Słodziak" z pewnością go nie zawiedzie. Mały, wielki film.

  • C'mon RED! I'm waiting for details on the Komodo....i know a lot of other people are too. If the image is good, it could mean some really crazy things for indy filmmakers. in the meantime, enjoy this ranger I say at JL Fisher earlier this year.

  • Very rare for a #QuentinTarantino film, some scenes in #OnceUponATimeInHollywood contained improvisation, particularly when #RickDalton forgets his lines in "Lancer" and rants to himself privately in his trailer afterwards. #LeonardoDiCaprio had a very difficult time playing Dalton's roles as Dalton would, rather than how he himself would, especially since Dalton is supposed to be an actor of hidden range, so he suggested Dalton forgetting his lines mid-scene to ironically help him stay in character as Dalton. The following scene in the trailer was unscripted. 🤠

Why would you watch a movie? For the plot! the actors! the characters! the genre! The making! The sounds! For me it’s the feel of it, what feel does it transcends to me, be it a comedy, tragedy, romance, thriller, or whatever genre, the feel is important (Spoilers ahead, watch the movie if you haven’t yet). The song “Manikya Chirakulla” has two versions in the movie, one to the beginning of the movie , in past when our boys are young & free in their friendship(sung by JobKurian), & the second towards the climax of it when after a long gap they rejoins & visit the exact place where they made there childhood memories. The second time we hear the song it plays in a slower version, and the voice is of a child( sung by @devaduttbijibal ), & slowly we realise not only are they in old memories but they are also making the new ones, just like a child would see things with excitement, these old boys too are in excitement. Slowly realising the same old them now. Such a beautiful scene, this is what this movie is, people say it’s drugs, it’s, nostalgia, and many things, but this is it , the friendship, the bond, the camaraderie, the feel of it. I would wish to have my friends with me, after years just like the way these guys enjoy each other’s company. ♥️ “We’ll be friends till we’re old & senile.. The. We’ll be new Friends” | Aashiq Abu | Syam Pushkaran | Dileesh Nair | Santhosh Echikkanam | Shyju Khalid | V. Sajan | Rafeeq Ahamed | Bijibal | M. Renjith |

  • In this school in a rural area or Rajasthan, children learn important information about child-marriage and how they can help prevent violence against women
•
They engage in activities which teach them the importance of being a child and their right to stay in school in order to get a quality education. Children should never be forced by their parents to marry because of dowry. This inhuman act forces both boys and girls to leave school, leading to illiteracy and cases of subordination, consequently increasing the chances of domestic violence
•
For one of the activities, the training teacher asked the children to draw a picture of a person. Only one of the students has made a drawing of someone whose gender differed from their own. The teacher promptly explained that this is the action of someone who is capable of making a change towards gender inequality, as in his young mind, everyone is equal. The lesson for the children was that gender distinctions are primarily a social construction and the change lies in the eyes of the beholder
•
After the lesson, the children gathered large papers and pens and were encouraged to do compassionate posters to be distributed at their village so they could pass on their learnings
•
Members of the @rsksindia visit 55 schools and villages like this one every month, so they can give access to fundamental social and human rights studies. The work is mainly focused around gender inequality and child-marriage. Educating Indian children on these is paramount for the deconstruction of the Indian patriarchal system and for the betterment of their future
•
The International Center for Research on Women-UNICEF publications have estimated India's child marriage rate to be 47% from small sample surveys of 1998,while the United Nations reports it to be 30% in 2005. These discrepancies happen as the official numbers are unattainable
