There are those who will say that Mudcrutch doesn't look a thing like Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, but I'll argue that point. Mudcrutch looks exactly like TPHB: A bunch of friends who enjoy playing music together and just happen to be really good at it.
In this band, the band that launched The Heartbreakers, Tom Petty is the bassist. And although he fronts the band and sings many of the songs, others contribute vocally as well. The standout here is the brilliant version of Hungry No More recorded at Boston's House of Blues in 2016, which appeared on the posthumously-released An American Treasure box set in 2018.

Amado is featuring songs from George Harrison today. The first song is “Here comes the sun” on the Abbey Road Album. Did you know that John Lennon isn’t on this song? Then Amado plays “Do you want to know a secret?” which was inspired by a famous Disney movie. Listen why John Lennon wasn’t on “Here comes the sun” and listen to what Disney movie inspired “Do you want to know a secret?”. #classichits#beatles#santafe#santafenm#newmexico#kswv
