✨ #waxcrayonchallenge by @waxbygraves February: orange! 🧡✨
That was the toughest one so far 😅. So I grabbed everything that looked „orange-ish“, here we have: #RedHotChiliPeppers - Californication #StoneTemplePilots - selftitled
Middle row: #BlackCountryCommunion - BCCV, which comes along with an orange cover and beautiful orange vinyl; #JoeBonamassa - Driving Towards The Daylight #Nazareth - Loud‘N‘Proud Orange Vinyl edition; #MeatLoaf - Hang Cool Teddy Bear
And, obviously: #GunsNRoses - Use Your Illusion II.
Two of my fave orange records are missing, since I sadly don’t own them on vinyl (not yet...😬):
David Bowie - Low, and Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life.
On this day in Rock music history 41 years ago today (Feb. 28th 1978).......Judas Priest released their 5th studio album titled 'Hellbent For Leather' in the US. JUDAS PRIEST released the album in Europe in 1978 under a different title 'Killing Machine'. The album pushed the band towards a more commercial style while still featuring the dark lyrical themes of their previous albums. At about the same time, the band members adopted their now-famous "leather-and-studs" fashion image, inspired by Rob Halford's interest in gay leather culture #soundcheckwithgentry#judaspriest#metal#heavymetal#hardrock#rockmusic#rock#classicrock#rockrageradio#rockisNOTdead

Eric Clapton performing Wonderful Tonight! What is your favourite Clapton track? Comment below...
On 7 September 1976, Clapton wrote "Wonderful Tonight" for Boyd while waiting for her to get ready to attend Paul and Linda McCartney's annual Buddy Holly party. Of "Wonderful Tonight", Boyd would say: "For years it tore at me. To have inspired Eric, and George before him, to write such music was so flattering. 'Wonderful Tonight' was the most poignant reminder of all that was good in our relationship, and when things went wrong it was torture to hear it."

Finally Friday! Aeromantic Day🕺🏼
Are you ready to take off?✈️ Aeromantic is the fifth album by THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA, or as we like to think of it ourselves, the fifth instalment in the ever ongoing NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA Saga. This time, our heroes have decided to go back to Earth, or at least 10,000 ft above the Earth, with the occasional crash landing in the streets on the darker side of town, exploring the places where the broken hearted people go to numb themselves and drink their sorrows away. 'Aeromantic' is also a street opera, about how everyone, despite their miserable daily lives, can find an escape route that transcends reality, and reinvent themselves to become another being, someone new and exciting. And perhaps one day even find themselves at a NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA show, where the men are more handsome, the women are stronger, the drugs hit harder and the champagne is even more sparkling.
'Aeromantic' is probably our most diverse and complete album so far, and we’ve taken everything a bit further on this one, in every sense of the word. If you’ve liked us before, you’ll love us now, because there is more drama, more catchy choruses, more sultry grooves, more bombastic power guitars, over the top vocal performances, new wave flirtations, power ballads and violin solos.
THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA holds no responsibility if listening to this record changes your life.

On this day in Rock music history 39 years ago today (Feb. 28th 1981).......RUSH released their 16th single 'Tom Sawyer'. The band's lead singer, bassist, and keyboardist, Geddy Lee, has referred to the track as the band's "defining piece of music ... from the early '80s". It is one of Rush's best-known songs and a staple of both classic rock radio and Rush's live performances, having been played on every concert tour since its release. The song peaked at #24 in Canada, #44 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and #8 on the Billboard Top Tracks chart #soundcheckwithgentry#RUSH#hardrock#progressiverock#rockmusic#classicrock#rock#rockrageradio#rockisNOTdead
