👑Freddie And His Cornflakes👑
📌During the Works tour tensions in the band were at an all-time high, particularly between Brian and Roger. Roger was angry about the setlist and Brian had a problem with the stage design that Roger had a hand in. Before one particular show things got really heated up, anything might have happened (it's suggested that the situation could have lead to an actual fight between Brian and Roger). All of a sudden, one of the roadies said that there were a few minutes before the beginning of the show and the band couldn't find Freddie. Everyone started looking for him and they couldn't find him for quite some time. Finally they discovered him in a dressing room - sitting in his underwear and a robe, eating cornflakes... Everyone burst out laughing, the fight was quickly forgotten and Queen gave one of the best shows of their career.
✨ hahaha, I imagine Brian, Roger and John's face when they found Freddie eating cornflakes in the dressing room 😂

“Diamonds and rust”, Joan Baez live in Norway, 1978
In this song, Joan Baez is singing to her former lover Bob Dylan, fondly reminiscing about their 1960s affair. Released as a single, this track became only her second top 40 hit in the States, and her biggest self-composed hit (her other hit came in 1971 with "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down."
Baez revealed to The Huffington Post that she wrote this song after Bob Dylan called her from a phone booth and sang her the lyrics to his song "Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts." Baez said that this gave her inspiration to write "Diamonds & Rust," and that she lied to Dylan, telling him it was about David Harris, to whom she was married from 1968-1973. Bob Dylan rarely reveals much about his songs, but his track "Queen Jane Approximately" is most likely his take on his relationship with Baez.
"Wonderful Tonight": Another track inspired by Pattie Boyd, Clapton wrote the song on the evening of September 7, 1976, while waiting for her to finish getting dressed so they could head off to Paul and Linda McCartney's annual Buddy Holly party.
Self titled album by Lee Aaron (1987) This album saw a change of direction for the Canadian beauty, exploring a much softer side to her music. I used to have a poster of her on my wall when I was younger, in her Metal Queen garb, a crush of mine... #leeaaron#rock#canadianrock#classicrock#cdcollection
on this day in 2017 - Chuck Berry died aged 90. The American guitarist, singer and songwriter was one of the pioneers of rock and roll music. With songs such as 'Maybellene' (1955), 'Roll Over Beethoven' (1956), 'Rock and Roll Music' (1957) and 'Johnny B. Goode' (1958), Berry refined and developed rhythm and blues into the major elements that made rock and roll distinctive. #chuckberry#70s#80s#classicrock ❤️🎸.
