Here’s my reminder to you that there’s a healthy way to lose weight and it definitely doesn’t involve starving yourself! ❤️⁣
⁣
I want to keep you from making the same mistakes I did when I was younger. Starving yourself all day only to binge later at night won’t leave you feeling good! Not to mention all the hormonal issues and health issues that arise when we eat too little.⁣
⁣
Losing weight the healthy way may take more time but it will leave you feeling so much better overall! Eating in a slight calorie deficit while paying attention to the quality of our food, getting movement in, hydrating and picking up healthy habits along the way is where the magic happens. Here are my tips on how to lose weight the healthy way:⁣
.⁣
1️⃣ Stop drinking your calories, aside from low sugar kombuchas, actually green green juices (mostly veggies), & high quality protein shakes. Aka get rid of the juices, fruit smoothies, sodas, sugary coffee drinks etc⁣
2️⃣ Limit the processed foods you eat.⁣
3️⃣ Add tons of veggies to your dishes! This will add loads of volume.⁣
4️⃣ Make sure you’re getting an adequate amount of protein. This will help you feel full.⁣
5️⃣ Add in some healthy fats. Fats are super important for the absorption of certain vitamins & important for overall health.⁣
6️⃣ Find the right amount of whole food carbs for you. You definitely shouldn’t fear carbs either! Pick whole food ones like sweet potatoes, potatoes, fruit, rice & beans and you’re on the right track!⁣

Avete assunto troppi 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙤𝙞𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞 in questi giorni🐷? Nessun problema! Riprendete in mano il vostro classico 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙚, ricordatevi di indossare le 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙥𝙚 𝙙𝙖 𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖, e nel giro di un paio di giorni tutto ritornerà come prima... o quasi!😅

📝Magari iniziando la giornata con una colazione 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖 e dal giusto apporto di 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙚 (amiche dei muscoli e dell’organismo). Le proteine partecipano attivamente a molti dei processi 𝙗𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙘𝙞 del nostro corpo e favoriscono anche il famoso 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙤 𝙙𝙞 𝙨𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙖’ per tutto l’arco della mattinata, permettendoci di arrivare al pasto successivo non troppo affamati ed evitando il classico 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙘𝙤 𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙤 dato invece dall’eccesso di 𝙯𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞. .

📝 Nel post ho aggiunto 𝟒 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 che apportano tutte le sostanze nutritive sopra descritte e che rispettano tutti gli aspetti di cui parlavo prima, aggiungendo 𝟓 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙞 di tempo rispetto a quelle dolci. 𝟏𝟎 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙞 in tutto sono i tempi di cottura delle 𝙪𝙤𝙫𝙖 e la preparazione di un centrifugato con 𝙛𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙖 e 𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙞 di 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚 oppure una fresca 𝙨𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙪𝙩𝙖 𝙙𝙞 𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖 🍊 .

SAVE HIIT WORKOUT!  I am introducing cardio into my workout routine this year to really tap into other levels of fitness outside weight training. For me hiit is the best way to go and especially adding in some smaller weights to do a resistance based circuit! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💪🏼 EACH exercise should have a 1 minute window to be completed in and all exercises are performed back to back in a circuit style. For example you have 1 minute to do exercise 1, whatever time is left after you complete all reps is your rest before the next exercise, the faster you work, the longer you rest! 4 exercise sets in total, 4 minutes work, repeat 5 times for a 20 minute HIIT session 🔥 @nuttyfoodiefitness .

1. 10 per leg Reverse lunge with side lateral raises
2. 12 Burpees
3. 10 per arm commandos
4. 10 per arm kettle bell swings

  • [#Vegan] Like-canned Beans but better. 
It's so easy to reach for a can of canned beans but making your own is so much healthier and very easy! Freezes great as well. 
Ingredients:
Organic cannellini beans (dried - if you have time to cook or have a pressure cooker, or canned)
1x tablespoon olive oil
Passata (I used the leftovers that I made earlier for pasta) @harrisfarmmarkets 
Cabbage 
Vegan sausage (optional) @lamyongaustralia 
1x tablespoon smoked paprika
2x bay leaves
2 x tablespoon of dried Italian herbs
1x teaspoon garlic
1/2x onion
Salt & pepper
Vege stock (optional)
.
In a pan, sauté onion until caramelised and add in spices and garlic. Stir in vegan sausage until everything is well coated and crispy - it will smell amazing at this point! Add in passata and a bit of water or vege stock - if you have a lot of time to let this simmer down, have this be watery. If you are short on time, skip the water. Add in your can of beans that you've drained and washed and also your cabbage (I use around half a cabbage because I really like it). .
Simmer for 15-30min with bay leaves. The longer you have this simmering for, the more infused and flavoured it will be. In the picture, I have left this simmering for 30min so in total, 45min of cooking time. .
Serve with your favourite crusty bread!

  • ¿Que acostumbras a comer en la noche? Te dejo una idea sencilla y deliciosa,  sopa de pasta de arroz, ( poca pasta) zanahoria, zuquini, repollo cortado en tiritas muy delgadas ( bastante verdura), para agregar sabor  ajo, gengibre, un poco de salsa de soya y un puñado de algas wakame. 
Sirvela bien caliente y tú estómago quedará ligero, pero satisfecho.
  • ¿Que acostumbras a comer en la noche? Te dejo una idea sencilla y deliciosa, sopa de pasta de arroz, ( poca pasta) zanahoria, zuquini, repollo cortado en tiritas muy delgadas ( bastante verdura), para agregar sabor ajo, gengibre, un poco de salsa de soya y un puñado de algas wakame.
    Sirvela bien caliente y tú estómago quedará ligero, pero satisfecho.
