Our #selfperception has become warped based on others opinions, we don’t see the wonders of our own self and we start to see our reflection through the eyes of others. We let their words cloud our vision. Our eyes don’t see clearly.
. . ➡️ Too skinny. Too much muscle. Stick thin. Blocky. Straight and shapeless. Pancake Ass. Fluffy. Full. Fat. ⬅️ .
I see hear these (have even said these) daily. Used as a sales technique, a self description, or a remark. 🥴

I see others talk about a past version of themselves this way. Describing why the new “version” is “better” because now they are no longer the above definitions. Or I see others, the most damn stunning, describe themselves this way currently. .
Heck, I do it too sometimes. (I’m looking at you my beloved pancake😏)

This is what the warping of social media and mags does to us, without realising we start to believe the opinions of others as being state of fact. We soak it up like a sponge, we assume we are not “good enough” and we live is a place of distraught and mental torment because we can’t quite change our bodies to look like..... “that”. .

Hey 👋 maybe it’s genetics, maybe they photoshopped, MAYBE if they didn’t injure their lower back twisting so hard to show you their glute to waist ratio or pull their pants so high... they wouldn’t look like that either. .

A little more BAM BAM with my wording today but I’m so passionate about it. You don’t have to flaunt your body to gain worth. Ok, flaunt it ALL YOU WANT YASSSSS!! 🤩 BUT.. Because you are damn happy & #BodyPositive wherever you are at, not because you need “social” reassurance. ❤️❤️ Fact is, you are human, your reflection is too be embraced and not shunned. The human body does not have a checklist of acceptance. 💕

  • ‼️Pensar - sentir - decidir - actuar. .
Mucha gente me comenta que hay ocasiones en las que no saben qué decidir. Me explica que reflexionar les lleva a un bucle mental que acaba por agotarlos. .
La reflexión es el acto de pensar y sentir sobre la decisión que tenemos entre las manos. Hay veces que tenemos las cosas muy claras y actuamos pero, ¿Qué sucede si no vemos tan claras las respuestas? Generalmente tendemos a darle vueltas y más vueltas a la cabeza para acabar posponiendo la decisión. Otras veces pedimos consejos a profesionales o amigos que nos aportan claridad a nuestras ideas y en quien confiamos.

Lo que dice mi experiencia es que llega un punto en el que no por más pensar vas a ver las cosas más claras. Es simplemente cuestión de elegir una de las opciones y ¡tomar acción! Porque al final, tenemos que estar seguros de una máxima: “no hay errores, hay experiencias”
.

Deixar de pensar como pensávamos é sinal de inteligência. .
Abandonar padrões que não cabem mais na dimensão de vida em que vive, é alinhamento com o presente. É estar congruente. .
Você pode ter encontrado o amor da sua vida e ainda assim não conseguir abandonar os flertes, conversas secretas. .
Isso é manter reservas, cartas velhas e fora do baralho que são guardadas na manga para serem usadas, quem sabe um dia...

Isso é um padrão. Altamente destrutivo.
.
Pode até ter um novo objetivo de vida, mas não consegue deixar de lado as cervejas no bar da esquina que não acrescentam nada. .
A vida sempre está lhe convidando a mudar de lugar. Ela está fluindo constantemente. Os padrões estão enraizados internamente e é absolutamente necessário deixá-los de lado. .
Muitas reclamações, insatisfações, pânicos, depressões e outras questões emocionais aparentemente sem solução, tem muito a ver com as suas fidelidades. .
Amigos que não acrescentam, empregos / trabalhos sem paixão / prazer, relacionamentos falidos que se sustentam por preservação do status, aparências, comodidades ou medo do novo... .
Esses são exemplos de que sua insatisfação com tudo a sua volta, com governos, com a violência que trata outro ser humano, com fofocas a respeito de outras pessoas e etc, é a prova e demonstrações bem visíveis de que a sua atenção deve se voltar para sua vida. .
Cuide de você e todo o resto entra naturalmente em ordem. E se não entra em ordem, pelo menos não tirará mais o seu sono. .
Importe-se contigo para que não tome conta da vida alheia e com isso continue vivendo e agindo em seus padrões aparentemente sem importância. .
Mas são eles que destroem suas relações, planos, sonhos e a sua saúde. .
É assim que é.

The highlight her coaching career so far was seeing girls who have tried pre-comp enjoy it so much that the join the competitive program.My favourite age to coach is 8-12year old’s.Something that Payton catches herself saying allot is “extend your knees”A fun tidbit is that Payton is still very active by going to the gym daily, Payton is also on the school: dive, cheer and rugby team.Her future goals include attending university next year to study Med/ Health Science and hopefully will end up going to Med school and becoming a doctor. #artisticswimming #synchronizedswimming #coach #yyc #goals #amazingyouth

  • Have you ever made a list of positive affirmations?  If not, let’s do it!  I like to give the assignment to come up with 50 positive things about yourself.  Many clients initially balk at that and give me a lot of reasons why they cannot do this assignment.  I did it ~ I believe in being able to complete whatever assignment(s) I give.  I don’t expect it to be done in a week or two, but keep a list and add to it as you think of something new.  I do have 2 “rules” - do not use a thesaurus and don’t ask anyone else for positives they see in you.  Why? Eventually you will become upset or irritated by that person and it will then be really easy to discount the positives they shared with you.  Think of them on your own.  It’ll mean more when it comes from your heart. .
Now, if that is overwhelming to start with, take some post-it notes or index cards and make some positive statements.  Some popular sayings are “I am good enough”, “I can do this”, “A rough day is not a reason to give up”. Make as many as you can think of and put where you can see them - your bedroom/bathroom mirror, bedside table, etc and read in the morning and night.  Keep doing this.  If we keep reading them to ourselves (and not negating them!), we will begin to cancel those negative messages and begin believing good things about ourselves.  Day 5 is tomorrow...💜
