Congee (in Asian cooking) is a broth or porridge made from rice. In China, it is traditionally a breakfast dish, a plain white rice congee, most often served with side dishes, sometimes a fried egg. My version incorporates, home-made organic chicken stock, slow cooked organic chicken and organic brown rice. Served with fresh shallot and ginger, chilli and soy!
Creating a deliciously wholesome, easy to digest, comfort food - best eaten anytime of the day or night!

  • PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 🙌🏻 Non i soliti biscotti! 5 ingredienti & 3 minuti per fare l'impasto + 15 minuti in forno. Accettabile anche in estate quindi. 😅😅😅 Ho visto la ricetta sul profilo ( stupendo ) di @feastingonfruit e li ho fatti subito con Aurora! Sono morbidi e sfiziosi. Pratici come snack estivo perché sopportano un po' di più il sole essendo vegani. Ricetta modificata e semplificata da me qui sotto! Buona merendaaaaa! 😘 .

Ingredienti:
230 g di burro di arachidi
70 g di zucchero di cocco
70 g Farina d'avena 
1 cucchiaino di lievito in polvere
1/2 cucchiaino di sale .

Procedimento:
Versa in una ciotola il burro di arachidi non salato, lo zucchero di cocco integrale, la farina di avena, il lievito e un pizzico di sale. Mescola con un cucchiaio fino a che non ottieni un impasto morbido e omogeneo. Con un cucchiaio prendi un po' di impasto, fai una pallina con le mani, posizionala sulla carta da forno e schiaccia nei due sensi con i rebbi di una forchetta. Forno statico a 180 e caldo per 15 minuti. Sforna, lascia raffreddare su una griglia prima di togliere i cookies dalla carta.

  • Siapa yang rajin makan kurma di bulan puasa aja? Kalo ga puasa ya suka kesilep makanan lainnya ya kan? Hehehe.. Yang masih punya tumpukan kurma, boleh nih bikin sticky dates pudding yang ternyata surprisingly good! Rasa manisnya cuma dari kurma dan sedikit gula palm aja, buat aku sih manisnya pas!
Kalo resep aslinya, mestinya disiram lagi pake butterscotch sauce biar lebih moist dan lebih manis. Karena ga ada stok heavy cream di rumah dan ya mikir-mikir ekstra berapa kalori lagi tuh?.. Yaudah diskip aja.. Ini resepnya nemu di Pinterest, kali ada yg mau coba bikin juga 😊👍

Sticky dates pudding

Panaskan oven 180C, siap kan loyang. Saya pake loyang muffin isi 12.

Part 1 aduk tunggu 10 menit 
280g kurma

1 tsp baking soda

250 ml boiling water

Part 2 kocok 
40 g / 1/4 cup palm sugar

80 g / 6 tbsp unsalted butter , softened

2 eggs , at room temperature

185 g plain flour (all purpose)

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Aduk dengan adonan kurma part 1, masukkan ke loyang dan Panggang di oven 25 menit. .

  • Home made food is something that I'd always prefer over any salad any given day. 
It's healthy , nutritious and can is customizable as per your wants and needs. 
Basic is healthy . 
Dal-roti is soul food . 
It could make anyone feel home any day . 
It's super healthy and I consider it to be my comfort food. 
It's really quick and simple to make. 
This plate has the basic dal-roti with a little twist. 
Rotis are made out of oats - ragi ( finger millet) and a little wheat flour. 
Meal prep time : 
5-10 mins ( depends if your oats flour is store bought or pre-made) 
Cooking time : 
10-25 mins 
For the flour : 
Ratio of flour : 
1/6rd tbsp ragi flour 
1/6rd tbsp wheat flour 
2/3rd tbsp roasted oat flour. 
Procedure : 
Mix them all and make a dough .
Brush them with little olive oil (only if you want to ) 
Dal ( lentil soup) : 
Basic yellow cucumber dal 
1 full cucumber 
Salt 
Green chillies 
Toor dal or Moong dal 
1/2- 1 tsp olive oil 
Cumin seeds , curry leaves for tadka . 
Cook the dal ( lentils) , salt in pressure cooker .
Add 1 small size green chilly , curry leaves , cumin seeds , mustard seeds to 1/2 tsp olive oil and add it took the pressure cooked dal.  And done !! Your low calorie , low carb and tummy filling lunch is ready .

  • Sorry for the hasty bad photo lol! I was craving for garlic mash but you can't really buy that at the hawker centre. So ownself do lor 😆 Boil 1 kg of potatoes. Mince 15 cloves of garlic and fry in approx. 40g #Emborg salted butter. Mash and mix with 1 cup of full cream milk, salt and black pepper. Then I did it in 3 ways: low-salt parsley, dill and Cajun mix, rosemary and Cajun mix #yumyumnomnom #cravingmet #comfortfood #yellowfood #garlicmash #enoughgarlic

Aquí os comparto un momento de ocio con @hannahveganamadrid y @simon.hudson.100 de hace ya bastantes semanas, que no días XD, en uno de mis sitios favoritos @biteme_madrid . En cuanto pueda iré a probar su delicioso ice matcha, ya que su matcha latte me encanta, y alguno de sus increibles donuts!! 🍩🤭
