How often do you say "no" to people? I'm not talking about the kids... because let's be honest... telling them "No. Don't eat that snow because it's dirty," seems appropriate.
I'm talking about saying "no" to things and NOT having FOMO afterwards. Actually having a sense of relief and joy instead?
For someone who is a born nurturer and who's primary love language is acts of service, saying "no" feels like a feat of strength!
I too often found myself saying "yes" to work or people because I didn't want to be perceived as rude, or unthoughtful, or uncaring. I wanted to please everyone around me so I would reluctantly say "yes" to things because I felt like it was the right thing to do.
But right for whom? Often times, not for me. I'd end up taking jobs that I'd procrastinate until the last minute because I just didn't have the energy to do it. Then, I'd totally stress out about how much work I had in front of me. Dragging my feet. Feeling like crap the whole time about it because I. Just. Didn't. Want. To.
I'd rationalize it because that person really needed help, or I thought that the money would be enough to motivate me.
Honestly, it was draining on my soul. 🚫
And while I'm learning how to say "no," I can definitely say that when I know in my heart, it's the right response, I feel so much lighter I say it.
My awesome and amazing accountability partner and I had a conversation about it. And she made a really astute observation about the both of us. If the project or action doesn't feel right (intuition) and we say "yes" anyway, we'll hate the whole process. It's only when we say "no," and listen to our intuition, that we'll feel good. Because it opens us up for the things we are supposed to be doing and we'll attract more of it into our lives.
When you say "no" feel it in your heart that you made the right decision for YOU. You can't be everything for everyone. I know you've got this.

Lol idk when I started caring so much on how I come across to people but it honestly need to stop lol i understand I can say things in a better way for sure, and I’m working on that but for me to stop speaking my mind all together makes me feel like I’m not myself. Wounds come up for healing because my Soul knows I am ready for it. But my human isn't, and there starts the dilemma. What is it that I have to let go? ✨ The internal dialogue starts. The witness is witnessing all of the melodrama. A voice says let go and take that step that breaks old patterns. Another voice says if you do that it means you are seeking something from outside, you are being co-dependent. Then a voice says, you are just letting go. Then a voice says it's too early, you need to be with yourself more. Then a voice says don't be afraid. Then a voice says you are being driven by fear, you haven't really resolved this yet. Then a voice says you need to listen to your heart. Then a voice says is this really your heart, or are you just constructing old patterns again? And before you know, the mind chatter has consumed you. ✨ I am tired by this point. My back muscles are burning, my neck is cramping and I am mentally drained.
It is then that my witness makes me aware of my predicament - I am holding onto lots of anger too tightly. I close my eyes and tears just flow, and the catharsis starts. Before I know my body has relaxed, my neck pain has gone down, and I feel light, as if I am floating. My Soul nudges me and I just embrace myself tightly. Tears are just flowing and love is filling me up. There is no logic, no rationale, no consistency in anything I am feeling at this point. I can't explain to myself why I am crying but I just want to keep crying. Then love says to me - follow me. I reach out. And there I am standing out of the tight box I have stuffed myself in. I know I have dissolved an attachment and an old negative pattern. ✨ In God's classroom I learn we are just meant to flow and listen to our heart. There needs to be no judgement, no rule, no consistency. It’s pretty interesting because I couldn’t think what I was stressed about lol but they know better than me, I’m grateful for the insight. I have been through a lot of pain in my life , and I don’t like to focus on things that make me feel bad, but instead of properly healing I would run away from those feelings. Now I am facing them head on; fully releasing and healing my heart ache so I can properly attract long term stability in my life. I want to be stable financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. The truth hurts but it’s how you truly move forward with your life. I don’t want to any longer delude myself that certain people are here for me when their actions clearly show they’re not, but I use to want love so bad that I would accept any type of treatment and be afraid to really be my true self out of fear they would no longer want to be around me , because let’s be real , I’m kind of a handful ... there’s a lot of Good that comes with me that’s undeniable, but it’s not all good. However NO ONE is perfect and if they can’t accept all of me, at my lows then they can’t be around me at my highs. It’s important to NEVER hold back on yourself for the sake of others, it’s so disrespectful to yourself and you deserve better than that. It’s better to be yourself and alone than to be around people who love someone you’re not. What’s your vision for your life?
Visioning, or getting clear on what the picture of your life is here and now, and then what you want it to look like in the future, is such an important process to regularly connect with. This weekend, Kareena and I both spent time gaining clarity around this, both personally and on a Reclaim Her business level*. It’s such a worthwhile process and I definitely encourage you to do it.
Too often we move through life, at times almost unconsciously without stopping to really consider if what we’re putting our time and energy into, is serving what we truly want and desire.
Sometimes it's almost like we operate on auto pilot, at other times we live our lives to fulfil other people’s expectations. Neither modes will see us living our fullest, happiest lives. We may know we want more for ourselves but don’t take the time to really look at what that means. Taking time for reflection is such a key here. It can help coax sometimes unconscious thoughts into existence, and if we allow both the logical and feeling aspects to have a voice, we can start to become more connected to who we truly want to be in this world and what life we want to live.
Simply put, we’re more likely to get what we want, if we know what it is!
So take some time to consider what really matters most to you, what areas you want more joy or satisfaction in and how you truly want to live your life?

It’s funny I had the most amazing day yesterday; I didn’t do anything special I actually just listened to my body. It was actually a realization for me for how far I’ve come over the last few years.
I used to think if it was raining or overcast it was a ‘bad’ day, if I stayed home all day I was ‘wasting’ the day. Well yesterday I lazed around all day, loved the rainy weather, was feeling creative at home whilst my little one did his own playing. I even cancelled plans which used to make me feel so guilty but I have such beautiful friends around me that I’m comfortable to say that I just feel like a home day. We had a picnic in the lounge room and I even attempted to read a book in the bath which ended up a bath with my little boy playing boats 😆 I was lucky enough to get to a balancing chakra yoga class last night. I felt so grateful during the class and humbled to see how content I had become.
Lessons I have learnt, and mind you it took me 30 something years to learn them. - Learn to listen to what your body needs. - It’s ok to say no. - it doesn’t matter what the weather is doing, go with it. So the ride. There’s something so very special in sharing. The physical release with the body. My body. But also the women who heard, resonated and gave permission to, for them to tell theirs.
We are but a nation of storytelling. Our history is full of stories. We’re creating them every day. And ALL our stories are valid. How ever much we belittle our own. Just remember the power you give to those who hear you. Their ability to own their own stuff, to make their own decisions, to think about their path.
Sharing the lifetime (to date) of not having children was difficult. Yet the process of writing, thinking, sharing is healing. We’re all on a healing journey, and it’s important not to diminish and to allow. There’s always light on the other side.
With our busy lives🌪, taking time to just “be” is not often seen as a priority. •
But, I put it on the top of my list, more & more!☀️
I find it has become a crucial time for me to fully connect with my mind and notice how/where I’m holding tightness & contractions in my body. 🙏🏻
I use time in stillness on a daily basis to notice my thoughts, my body’s reactions to the thoughts, my breathing, & to rid myself of unnecessary stress. 🙏🏻
You don’t have to do this anywhere fancy! You can do it at your desk, at a stop light or whilst the kids are playing 🧩⚽️. •
Just try dedicating some time today to connect with your Self✨Your inner Self✨Your higher Self✨

Psilocybin mushrooms are also known as magic mushrooms there are over 180 species, they have a long history of used in mesoamerica spiritual religious rituals. Archaeologist have found evidence in the Sahara Desert that shows use going back over 7,000 years. Often used as a Rite of Passage. Sense of accounts of psilocybin used in Pre Columbia comes from the Mayan and Aztec culture for it shamanistic work. When you’re involved in it, you will get a wonderful feeling that there are no limits, that anything is possible. TAKING TIME OUT TUESDAYS
Today I have chosen to take 30 minutes for myself to meditate.
Taking this time to reflect, appreciate and give thanks for all I have.
Taking this time to go within and realize how much I have achieved and how the best is yet to come.
Taking these moments to stop.
A lot of the time I feel like I am in groundhog day and yes one day that will change.
But we have to choose to take this time out for ourselves.
Otherwise no one else will.

I've not felt much like posting anything much on social media recently...I've not painted much at all and therefore it should be no surprise really that my mood has been a bit low and unpredictable over the last few weeks.
I'm ok now but feel unmotivated, with no vision and low on ideas which is very unlike me and is actually a little scary given that First Mummies Club is an aspect of my life I have to think ahead for and feel organised with, it's usually everything else that feels a little more chaotic.
So in moments like these where life feels a bit bumpy, I take joy from other things. This is a close up photograph I took of one of the paintings in the @Bonnard exhibitions at the @tate. Visiting on my own allowed me to feel at ease with myself, and in control... never underestimate time just for you.
I could take in the details, the thickness of the paint, the amazing array of colours used to create the impression of flesh....in those moments, I feel my breath become steady, and life seems much simpler. The 'artist date' from the anticipation of what I may discover visually as well as that first sip of a coffee enjoyed in peace and on my own terms makes the whole experience titilate (love that word) the senses. I look up more, engage with people and smile. All feel good stuff which means when I return, I feel calm and more aware of everything really. Looking back at this time gives me easy access to 'feeling' that calm again.
As a side note, Hubby took a day of work today and we went to the cinema and had lunch after. I don't think I've ever gone to the cinema at 11am in the morning but another very positive, life affirming date of another kind and felt very cheeky!! I think we both felt the benefits x
Warrior two. Every time when I am in this pose Vision, mission, self-discipline, being self-accountable, self-responsible, staying focus requires self-discipline, gaining inner strength, courage, grounding, allowing myself to be open up to me comes to mind. Focusing can be challenging especially if the mind wants to continue to believe what was then than what is now. This requires internal work by shedding my old beliefs of what I perceived of myself and getting rid of what is no longer helping me but hindering me. Taking self-inventory and self-inquiry by asking myself questions and being truly honest to myself, not blaming others, no excuses, but being honest with me, because that is where the real work is. Asking myself questions such as, what is stagnating my growth or development? What thoughts, what beliefs, what behavior do I need to let go of, just thinking, just thinking? And then I begin to work on it by practicing a new belief of me which is thoughts first, then action, then I must practice behavior and turn it into a habit to replace old habits old thoughts and old beliefs. Creating a new vision of me, a new vision on life, a new vision of self. Because sight see things as they are but vision allows you to see the capacity of what things can be. Focus. Discipline. Take courage, focus on your vision which is your mission. Anything is Possible.
