This image is the first from a new technique I’ve been working on - time-lapse photographs.
The camera is set up for a hour or so, shooting hundreds of images, I then individually select the moments I find the most interesting. The time-lapse photos are then combined to produce the final image.
This sequence was shot last summer during a particularly hot spell.
50/50. Spray coming off the lip of wave at Gwenver today. (I’m back in Cornwall for a few weeks so I’m back on Instagram. I’ll try and post a bit more regularly than once every few months from now on)

What absolutely stunning weather we have had lately! Perfect for the Easter break. It really felt like summer. I love Cornwall, especially at this time of year. Here's Kynance Cove doing its thing. 🌅🌊⛵ I've been out in the sun testing my underwater housing, an image or two might appear in my story.
Back from our holidays with a new found energy. While visiting Padstow, we stumbled across a beautiful little art gallery where we purchased one of our first limited edition prints from new to me artist @jontremaineart
I am an avid art lover with a passion for wildlife. So to add to my growing collection. We have a stunning Red Deer Stag no 95/750
Drawn in pen with the finest of detail, within this piece are in fact a number of intricate pieces interwoven to form the stag. Are you an art lover? Take a closer look... what do you see?
📍 Location - Boscastle

⛆ On the 16th August 2004, 7 inches of rain fell over the ground, just inland of Boscastle.
⛆ This torrential rain led to an increase of 2 metres in river height and the speed of the river estimated at about 4m/s - meaning the river burst its banks very easily.
⛆ Floodwater rushed into houses, shops and swept along debris with immense force, resulting in the estimated cost of damage being around £15 million. The local church was filled with up to six feet of mud and water!
⛆ The rescue operation itself involved airlifting nearly 100 people to safety. Other services such as the lifeboat and the fire brigade were also called to assist.
⛆ Overall, 150 vehicles were swept away (84 vehicles were later recovered from Boscastle harbour, but more than 30 were swept out to sea).
⛆ £10 million has been spent on flood defences since the accident. #hcboscastleflood2004

It’s Saturday morning... My Saturday mornings are very different these days... Rather than being hungover, throwing up, grumpy and remorseful my Saturdays are brimming with life.
What I did this morning...I got up quietly whilst others slept & I went for a 5 mile run - had no idea where I was going.
If I had a drink last night my morning run wouldn’t have happened...I wouldn’t have experienced the woodpeckers pecking & the soft lapping sea or the smell of wild chives growing in the woods... For me, this is a form self care - these things sing to my spirit & bring such a joyous peace... Life is different today & it’s taken courage...I’m super thankful for my existence on this spectacular earth today 🌸
TeeTotalling 258 days & just for today
Happy Easter 🥰
