Even the Executive Director of the nation’s leading mental health agency, the National Institute of Mental Health admits, “Unlike our definitions of ischemic heart disease, lymphoma, or AIDS, the DSM diagnoses are based on a consensus about clusters of clinical symptoms, not any objective laboratory measure.”
Throughout lifetimes, about 50% of Americans will have a diagnosable mental illness of some kind. That includes about 200 different possible diagnoses.
About 25% of us at any given time currently have a diagnosable mental illness. People with mental illnesses commit violence at a much lower rate than the
population in general.
Not quite 5% of violent crime is committed by people with some form of mental illness only. About another 5% is committed by people with some form of
mental illness along with substance abuse. 90% of violent crime is committed by the 75% of Americans without any mental illness present!

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
ROMANS 8:28 NASB Like this first little flower in the cold and rain, a couple of my friends just went through some rainy times. Both had faith that God was going to work something good out of what they were going through. I’m happy to say, just like this little flower whose petals opened up to let the sunshine in, they too, are now seeing some Sonshine in their lives. One actually received a new heart and the other received a renewed sense of hope and purpose in their life! #Allthingsworktogether#countrygirl#healthyliving#liveyourbestlife
Day 16 of 80!
Booty gains!!! “Instant gratification isn’t worth sacrificing the long term goal. You have be obsessed. It takes a certain level of obsession with your goals to reach them. Some might say you’re crazy. Some might ask you why. But in the end they are going to ask you how. I promise you that.”

I love spring time cause all the little animals babies are born. Had the pleasure of running across these sweet little baby armadillos the other day. They were so playful and wanted to follow us around. We didn’t bother them to much and made sure not to touch or get close. I saw momma last year so they must live close by.
Can you guess what I love even more than little animal babies??? You guessed right if you said human mommas and babies!!! 😍😍 Thankfully our babies are born all year round which keeps my postpartum support available all year round! I love being a Postpartum Doula! •
Big things are coming in the future for me! Can’t wait to share but you’ll have to wait a bit longer 💗
Day 6: I was nominated for the 10-day farming/ranching family challenge, but am gonna change it up. For me, it's the AG challenge, because farming and ranching dont cover it all. Every day I select an image from a day in the life of Agriculture that has had an impact on me and post it without a single explanation. That’s 10 days, 10 Ag photos, and 0 explanations.
"Wild as the West Texas Wind" Chasin' waspy ones ~ that's our kind of grahpic! The rocker tee fit is looser like a unisex fit, but with the length of a fitted style, and the unfinished sleeves just complete it! #summerstyle#newarrival#S7sSpring#savannah7s
