Has anyone heard of Country magazine?! Well I have, I grew up reading Country magazine at my Mawmaw Judys house. The country scenes would take me to a serene imaginary place! Well it’s not so imaginary anymore because that’s MY BABY in OUR BACKYARD on the back cover wearing an outfit Mawmaw Judy made for her! 💗 This feature brings me so much joy especially because that’s my baby in her element! Barefeet and a water hose 👒💦☀️🌱 #Countrymagazine#countrybaby#thatsMYbaby#lovesbeingoutside#hatesshoes#iloveher#letsgoplantourgarden

If you are a long time follower, you may remember that we used to have a really large deck across the front of our #doublewide , but when we had the exterior remodeled, we took it off. The guys working on the exterior needed to be able to get behind the deck to install the siding, skirting and put in new windows. We never put the deck back on because we knew that we would have to tear it back off when we move the home.
So, fast forward to know. We had a regular size front door put in and just left the stairs, but it all looked a little shabby. So, this week, I stained the stairs, painted our front door, and planted some pretty Spring blooms.
Every container you see pictured along with the ladder back chair were all pulled off the property we are cleaning up. It’s quite incredible what you can do with someone else’s cast aways.
It wasn’t a grand makeover but I used what I found and created a space that work for now.
Well tonight I will tell you Logan’s journey....🐓 He is very handsome and a full breed Lavender Orpington 💜 But....He will be 2 this May and for that time he has been a naughty rooster! We have made many sacrifices for him 🤷♀️ He has a Blue Cochin brother Liam, they have never fought! Last week Liam attempted to beat him up! Luckily I was there and picked up Logan and cleaned him up. Well, Logan now has his own six girl flock and we are building a few additions to the coops. So for now this guy has the lower barn and has been an angel 💜 .
