San Diego is such a gem and I am always finding new amazing places. This engagement session was my first time at this location but it quickly became one of my very favorite spots for photos!! Spending the weekend with my loved ones exploring all its beauty is always so precious to me. My love language is quality time, so that is exactly what I do when we get some downtime! This weekend was exactly what I needed for the week ahead!
I’m so excited to be going back to Palm Springs this weekend for another wedding!

i’ve never posted a more FUN sequence of photos .... i’m literally in loveeeeee!
on a real note though, editing these was the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do. the harsh sun, dark water, all the colors, yeah just super difficult. super thankful for it though because it challenged me to do better :)
These two will be getting married 3 weeks after we do, and I’m just as excited for them! 🌿

I honestly don’t even know where to start with these two😭💕 Caylie and I have been friends since the early (and extremely awkward) middle schools days, and I honestly could not have been more honored to have gotten to photograph her and Bryan before they left on their next adventure moving out of state! We had such a blast at their session, and I could have hung out with them all day long! Couples like this, during sessions like this, make me fall in love with what I do all over again!

That awkward moment when you realize you haven’t posted in almost three weeks 😳 for those of you wondering, yes I’m still alive 🤣
This has been a season of growth for me, and part of that is learning how to balance work, life and a healthy amount of time spent on this little app. I had a really hard time the first week I missed a post. I felt guilty for not showing up on here. But then as the second week passed I realized I wasn’t feeling as guilty. Not because I don’t love this part of my job, or connecting with all of you, but because I wasn’t so stressed out trying to plan and curate the perfect photo or perfect caption for each post every day as though my career depended on it. Because guess what! I’ve still been booking weddings and new clients, sending out galleries that I’m super proud of and making connections with people all while taking an unintentional break from this social platform. And what else, I’ve also found time for myself in the midst of the chaos. I cut back on my scrolling time and gave myself the chance to pick up a book for the first time in a while! (And for those wondering I’m currently reading @jordanleedooley new book “Own Your Everyday” and y’all it’s AMAZING go get it right now).
I have nothing against this little world on our screens and I definitely think it’s a big part of my business that I am so so thankful for! I also love what Instagram has become in the sense that we can showcase our work, encourage one another, and connect across the globe! I’ve met so many of you through this app that I truly consider close friends and we’ve never even met face to face 😂 and I love that! But guys!!! I urge all of you to take a break from it every once in while, intentional or not, and make sure you’re still enjoying life and not just “doing it for the gram”.
Some love stories are destined to be told. So powerful, they transcend time and become a spectacle for everyone around to enjoy.
I am so happy I had a chance to film this incredible couple's wedding back in November, and thrilled to revisit with them recently for a family photoshoot.
Barbie and Carlos, thanks for the opportunity to work with you. Your wedding film will always represent a huge milestone for me!
More coffee date sessions here please. Because they have sparkly drinks. Random note: not sure why I was looking forward to summer knowing I’m the worst sweater EVER. I’m going to be a big soppy blob at today’s wedding. YAY. 😂
Can I just say that I love my job. I get to hang out with all the lovliest people in the most incredible places.... It blows my mind that I just get to live this life... Like I am just allowed to get up in the morning and do what I love while witnessing the lost special moments in peoples lives? Is this real life? #love#pinchme#waterfalls
@thatderbygirl wanted trees and grass and sunset in her maternity pictures.... I was happy to oblige her tonight at the @ramirez_pecan_farm ! 😍. Big thank you to Mr. Ramirez and the Ramirez Family for allowing me the honor of doing the session there.
