We just celebrated 7 years of marriage yesterday! Praise Jesus! We have been together for 12 years total.
I (Megan) did not grow up in a Christ- centered family. I started going to church on my own during high school and met Britt from a mutual friend. He grew up in the church. We started out as friends and hung out often in group settings. Britt went to Costa Rica one summer and felt the Lord speak to him and say, “It is time to pursue Megan.” ____
Fast forward some, we dated for 4.5 years (I, Megan was only 16 at the time). We had some hard times during the dating years because of insecurities and baggage I had from my childhood. Britt was strong and continued to pursue with gentleness and kindness. He fought for me and showed me patience and love.
We now have two small children ages 5 and 2 that demand our attention. During this season of life we find it extremely important to continue to date each other. To have fun and be intentional with each other. We know that we are a team and our spouse is not our enemy. We have to remind ourselves daily of that because the enemy does like to slip lies into your mind, but don’t stay there!
What kind of traveller are you?
We share our enthusiasm for travelling. We are more of deep traveller, who likes to spend more time in one place, learn about new culture, food, etc. We target both touristic and less touristic places. We love to plan our trips. That way we make sure that we don't end up spending more. Ofcourse, sometimes it's hard to plan ahead. But planning does make a huge difference, even in terms of best use of time while travelling.
What if — really just think about this.... WHAT IF — you could spend your Friday, exactly how you wanted?! 💭
What if — you went to work because you WANTED to, not because you had to?! 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
I used to DREAM of this lifestyle. 💯 I used to pray for the day that it would come... and it never did. 😭
Until I finally realized — I had to put some HUSTLE behind those PRAYERS. I had to be playing the game to win the game. Instead of spectating, I had to jump in. 🏆
I did just that. And life hasn’t looked the same since. 💕

This is how beautiful the National Museum of Singapore is even at night. Believe it or not, we actually got lost on our way back (yes, even Singaporeans can get lost in their own country no matter how small it is) when I snapped this photo. We were already so sweaty and tired from binge eating in Dhoby Ghaut when we decided to walk a bit to burn some calories. Unfortunately, someone set the pin at his work place instead of our home. Honestly, this is when I can say that you see a lot of good things when you're lost, and being clueless about your location doesn't always equate to something bad. Amazing from the outside, so how much more when you go in, right? Even a low quality photo shows how beautiful it looks like (we were walking with no intentions to stop, so forgive me for the not so perfect photo). .
You can go in at no cost if you are a Singaporean or a PR (Permanent Resident), but if you're a tourist, the entrance is just about S$15 and S$18 when there's an exhibit. We are in love with museums and it won't hurt to visit one during your free time. .
The nearest train would be the Downtown line (blue line), and you can check on google maps whether there's a direct bus going here from where you are in Singapore. Also, if you want to experience Singapore, I suggest that you take the bus or the train to explore since it's cheaper and it's convenient. Singapore has an efficient public transport system, and I swear you won't get lost (at least for the train ride)! Ask us anything about Singapore, and we will really try our best to help.
Also, we would be thankful if you can share with us the nicest museum that you visited, so we can check it out too. 👌🏻
