A delightful new arrival for our farmer friend and Member, John Michael, meant he *almost* missed the weekend’s festivities! Fortunately little ‘Chukka’ as he’s named him in the club’s honour arrived in the nick of time! #PoloCow#CowPolo ?? #nothatstoofar#cowsofinstagram
Madhusudana was born at the end of 2017 and joined Care for Cows on 21 November 2018, only for 3 days.
At that day a couple of devotees saw him slowly walking along the road with a heavily bloody leg.
We knew that pack of stray dogs was hunting in that area. Those dogs had bitten one calf to death one day early. Madhusudana miraculously survived, but he was strongly bitten by dogs.
When we brought him to Goshala, an infection and parasites had already fallen into open wound.
We immediately treated his wounds and gave medicine injections.
His condition worsened day by day, he practically didn’t eat. Devotees came to him every day and gave their love and care, sang kirtan.
A few hours before leaving body Madhusudana got darshan of Govinda Dev Shaligram. Devotees put Tulasi leaf from Govinda’s Lotus Feet into his mouth and tears flowed from his eyes right away.
He could leave is body in peaceful surroundings and he got experience some love and affection in his last days.
Madhusudan left his body on the evening of 23 November 2018 while hearing Prabhupada chant the Maha-mantra. He was unusual and humble soul.
It was very auspicious day also – Last day of the Holiest Month Kartik, Last day of Bhishma Pancaka, Celebrations Tulasi-Saligrama Vivaha and Sri Krishna Rasayatra.
