Big Chicken | @HenHouseBrewing
The Mules were honored to get to try this once-a-year beer from the Hen House gang! Thanks to a few of our satellite mules that brought back a massive HH haul, this triple IPA was incredibly deceptive thanks to the expert brewers and the obscene amounts of hops that were used.

Keep Left, DIPA by @verdantbrew x @eqbrewery // 8.0% ABV
Brewed with Hallertau Blanc, Huell Melon, Azacca, Motueka, Galaxy & Nelson Sauvin hops.
For me, the New Zealand hops (especially Nelson Sauvin) really stand out in this beer, which I love!!
Huge tropical fruit aromas & flavours with white grape, melon and a decent level of bitterness on the finish. 👃🏼👅🥭🍍🍊🍇🍈
The body is super thick with with a big chewy mouthfeel. Just as good as the last release - stunning beer!! | KEEP⬅️🍻 |
Beermail from @thebruery making Monday that much more bearable! Some cans of Icky Thump (imperial stout with coffee), White Mocha (BBA wheatwine style ale with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and coffee), and a bottle of Apfelsap, another wheatwine style ale fermented with Mcintosh apples and aged in apple brandy barrels. 🍻
BEER: Blueberry Magic
STYLE: Sour Double India Pale Ale
We’ve reached another century milestone… Review 400! And what a better way to ring in a new one than with a brewery that I’ve been reviewing since the start (seriously, go look at Review 18 when I took a picture of Murklands on a toilet). Whether they know it or not, Pure’s almost meant something to me since they were my first can release, made Triple IPAs I actually enjoyed, and introduced me to the beer trade game. The folks at Pure have come a long, long way since then. This is Blueberry Magic, another fruited Sour Double IPA (made with blueberry, hibiscus, and lactose) that creates high expectations from the moment in leaves the can. At 8.5% ABV, it pours a thick, murky mulberry purple-red color and produces a fizzy, off-white head with super-compact bubbles. Like most of these ‘Magic’ beers, I found it to be a little funky but certainly not bad. The blueberry tartness shines through early followed by what I can only describe as an almost weed-like dank grass. Once you start sippin’ on it, the Magic comes to life. Pillows for days. It’s thick, smoothie-like, and a little gritty mixed with a carbonation that’s still sharp and prickly but subdued. Flavors include what you’d expect out of a beer with ‘blueberry’ in the title. Lots of blueberry, a helping of herbal hibiscus, and a little bit of orange zest (maybe). The dank hops gladly play support here to create a super easy drinking experience. While it’s not my favorite Magic beer to date, it’s still good. Cheers, Pure!

Fault from HOMES Brewery! This 8% DIPA has Idaho 7, Citra, and Cascade hops. Notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Full body IPA with a nice, smooth sweetness and creamy mouthfeel. A tropical juice bomb! HOMES just keeps doing great things! Go check out HOMES in Ann Arbor, Michigan if you're in the area. One of my favorite breweries in the US! 👍👍👍 .
Thank God it's finally, 'go outside kid' time... This fancy cup thing makes it TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE to drink some cans at the park... I checked. .
Warm Hand Splash & Dark-Eyed Junco (not pictured) by @DancingGnome Both DIPA, both 8%... .
20 taps? Say whaaa’?! Our outdoor bible of beers is ready to keep you thinking what should you drink next at the terrace. 😯😌🍃🌿🌲

New Arrivals from @superstitionmeadery
•Chocolate Strawberry Sunrise•
“Arizona honey, strawberry juice, Madagascar vanilla beans and organic cacao nibs take a semi-sweet trip to a land of decadence in this specialty mead.”
Marion Mead aged on Tahitian Vanilla Beans. Rich and Creamy Perfection!
Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Cacao Mead
This unique take on one of our favorite meads is a delicious combination of blackberry, blueberry and raspberry fermented with coffee.
Made in collaboration with our friends over at Bottle Logic. We took Belgian Dark Candy Sugar, toasted hazelnuts, and Cacao Nibs. Then barrel aged in New American Oak for 4 months and then Bourbon barrels for another 4.

We need to talk about the best brew I had this weekend. This milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. Really. I am blown away by my first @intracoastalbrewingcompany beer.
The Yard is a juicy NE style milkshake double IPA brewed with oats, lactose, vanilla bean, and 500 lbs of strawberries. This hoppy, creamy Milkshake Double IPA is a complete dream.
It pours beautifully hazy with a lovely red hue. This beer is creamy, full of fresh, juicy strawberry flavor with a hint of vanilla & beautifully balanced with a nice hop profile. It is not too sweet & is dangerously drinkable at 8.2% ABV & 65 IBU.
Hope everyone has an awesome Monday! What was the best beer you had this weekend?
Thanks to @show_me_your_brews for this great beer. 🍻
