Drawer front for a nightstand I’m in the process of building. Love what this shape does to the grain!

A massive congratulations to my friend @julizarateee for purchasing her first home! Your home is a representation of a whole lot of hard work, preparation, savings, and learning. I am truly honored to have been able to help you and Martin. 🏠💫🎉
This lovely new construction house is now home to my sweet clients! Congratulations @_aaddrrii18_ and Adalberto on your move to Washington! You guys have settled in perfectly and are now official Washingtonians. It was a privilege working with you both! 🎉🏠💕 •
Did you know you can commission #handmade shoelaces from Lee of @meadowswift fame?! Lee uses a Japanese hand braiding technique called #kumihimo to craft beautiful lengths of braid he then uses as necklaces to hang his #handcarved wooden clasps, each holding a stunning #crystal .
What is a roof, anyway? It’s not just a hat for your house. A roof is a way to protect your home. Roof systems are part of your home system. Roofing protects your home from the elements. If you have your roof inspected regularly you can not only maintain the quality of your roof but also extend its life expectancy and keep your home protected. LAST DAY! Today is your last opportunity to get your hands on one of our new shirts! This Anatomy of an Axe design was originally inspired by an Instagram post I made back in May. By request, we took the design and put it on a T-Shirt! The campaign ends tonight, so if you want a shirt, nows the time to get one! Thank you all for your support!
2 short videos of Bryan White @wabisabijoiner making joints .... about 4 hours per complete paired joint - based on fully experienced, fully tooled up, machinery, skill level .... #10000hours#craftsman#craftsanship
If he looks a little slow 🤓 - as I once foolishly suggested - well, he gave me the chisel to have a go😬....! It seems he’s not that slow after all😘

DETAILS! It’s the details that set you apart! We’re down to the details on our Brazilian 🍒 refinish! We’ve got three different @festool orbitals in here going like mad! We’ll finish these up and make our final pass with the Trio screens!
No.39 Birch ....a tireing and difficult day...I made a quick spoon similar to the one I did yesterday. Just processing events of the last few days, then looking at the treasures on the counter top......my mate Ben carved me this strange ‘monsters jawbone’ 😊 ....they’re interesting the carvings he makes, odd teeth and jaws, good craftsmanship. We’re gonna collaborate on a strange spoon....maybe for halloween? 😊
She’s a beaut, Clark! 🏠
After 103 years, our old chimney was in need of replacing from the roofline up. We called in the best of the best, Richie Strege of R S Masonry Restoration and Caulking, to build a new chimney that would keep with the historical character of the house. Since he also built our beautiful front steps for the previous owners, we had him match the brick to that for a little added curb appeal.
We live just outside (across the street from) the McKennan Park and Hayes Historic Districts in Sioux Falls, and Andrew and I love taking care of #thisoldhouse , so we are thrilled with how this latest project turned out!
He also did some foundation repair and repointing to clean up the look of our foundation and keep things water tight and mouse proof.
Richie and the RS Masonry crew are top notch professionals, we are so pleased with their work. I’d highly recommend them for any masonry job! #oldhouselove@preservationsfalls#masonry#craftsman#craftsmanstyle#restorenotdestroy
Hey guys 👋🏼 we changed our phone provider 📲 & it emptied our voicemail box. If you were waiting for a call back please feel free to call us back & we’ll get back to you all this week. Thank you for being so awesome & enjoy your day. xx *I’II be sharing this tiny this week too.
We pride ourselves on being different. We try to keep a good culture in our company and one part of doing so is hiring people that match our culture and training them to do the work. It is a bit longer doing it this way but the rewards are so much better than hiring for skill and training to the culture.
SHAZAM! Here’s the custom board I made a while back for Zachary Levi ⚡️ you can still grab our collaborative board “The Covenant” at the link in my bio. All the profits go to Covenant House to help homeless youth. And BTW... I don’t think we ever named this board 🤔 #breakthegrain
In 2017 we purchased 1585 Naglee Ave, a few doors down from the Rose Garden. This project was truly a labor of love and we could not be more happy for the new homeowners!

Today I did what I tell everybody not to do, get complacent or rush.
Whilst using my #flexvolt#DeWalt#tablesaw on site with my shim jig I did just that, got complacent and rushed. This is a practice I have done countless of times in the past.
Whilst trying to push the job forward I spent little no time looking over my scrap 2x4 for any defects such as screws or nails. So this is the outcome due to rushing being complacent and one strong as f*** nail I almost lost my thumb on my dominant hand.
I have been in this business over 15 years and to all the carpenters, joiners, cabinet makers and anybody in this line of work do not get complacent.
I have learnt the hard way this will be my first and last time this happens.
