  • Many of you witnessed our driver Nikita Abramov’s (@here2race ) dramatic roll at @lyddenhill Race Circuit on Bank Holiday Monday.
.

Thank you to everyone who has asked after him, we are pleased to say he is OK and he wishes to extend his gratitude to everyone who has shown their concern.
.

We would like to say a massive thank you to the marshals, medics, officials and circuit staff - everyone who was involved in the incident and ensuring his safety was paramount.
.

Through over a decade of hiring cars for both rallying and rallycross, fortunately this is the first time we have experienced such a big incident and seeing how all the emergency crews came to rescue and the procedures followed with such professionalism, respect, and thank you to all.
.

So pleased to share despite several heavy impacts on the roof, HE WALKED AWAY WITH ONLY BUMPS AND BRUISES!!! Thank you again to everyone for the calls and messages. 📷 Thank you to @mattbristow for the images.

  • And this is why we wear helmets... ⛑.
Had some stunner rides this weekend and on Monday came off my bike. I don’t remember anything about the crash or ambulance, only dipping in and out of consciousness in hospital, and my flatmate Ollie (absolute ⭐️) telling me everything was going to be okay between stretchers. I can’t thank the nurses and doctors at Whipps Cross for acting so quickly and professionally 🙏🏻.

Thanks to everyone for the lovely messages and notes, I am responding as quickly as my eyesight will let me - still a bit blurry in one eye thanks do the head swelling. I’m reprimanding anyone who makes me laugh (doesn’t help being at home with family that inevitably brings many amusing moments 🤦🏻‍♀️), and hating every time I yawn or sneeze as these small involuntary reactions are so painful 😫- all those things you normally would overlook 😂 DAMN YOU.
Apart from a very bruised hip and ribcage, a couple of stiches and concussion I am absolutely fine and very grateful that this was it 🙏🏻.

I can’t say two things more really, that the Epping High Road needs to have less cat eyes barricading the cycle lane, and that helmets really do save your life.

Thanks to all for your wonderful words and thoughts, it means so much and a HUGE thank you to everyone there on Monday who just reinforced the kindness of humans 💕, I’m very much counting my stars 🌟.

  • Not every day goes according to plan! At the last race of the day, starting from the back of the grid, I collided with a rider in front of me who seemed to have had an issue with his gears. He suddenly slowed down in front of me and I didn't have time to dodge, even though I broke hard I still hit his rear tyre, and off I fly 😆 incredibly, the damage to the bike is minimal, and my safety gear did amazing job. Don't skip on gear kids!
