The first video is a Clean from February 2019. Notice that after she extends, the bar comes well ABOVE Morgan’s shoulders and then crashes down on her.⠀
The second video was taken August 2019. Notice that after she tends, the bar travels TO the shoulders rather than above it.⠀
The Clean & Jerk has been Morgan’s weakness in terms of her overall strength but also technique, and I’m so excited to see that she’s had a technical breakthrough as big as this. The less energy expended on the Clean means more energy that can be put into the Jerk!

THAT’S HOW DEATH FEELS LIKE....
There I was, in the middle of the gym, lying in a puddle of my own sweat and tears.
Knowing full well, that I’m a failure...
CrossFit, this sport that so many have called their home, has kicked my ass harder than anything before.
Why, oh God, why on earth did I choose this sport??
Was it because I saw the respect and admiration that the top CrossFit athletes were getting on a constant basis, and I wanted to experience what that would feel like?
Or was it because I wanted to proudly declare myself as the fittest there is?
Whatever it was, one thing was for sure.
I was constantly ashamed that I couldn’t finish my WOD and other CrossFitters would instantly pick up on it.
I heard their snickers & jeers.
I desperately wanted to be a part of this community, but no matter how hard I tried, they didn’t let me in.
That me was always self-conscious of what others would think.
I was depressed.
And worse yet, I was getting fatter.
Nothing could pull me out of this sadness I was feeling.
Until, I found the thing that would change my life forever.....

4 month of hard work on these gunz. It’s amazing what you can accomplish in such a short amount of time.
I’m the same body fat in both photos. (So says the scale, who knows if it’s accurate, I don’t really care 🤷🏼♀️) about 5 lbs heavier (probably mostly water cause I was cutting in the photo on the left). I have gained so much strength it’s crazy. I never trained arms before January because I didn’t want to look “manly”. Now I wanna look like I can kick yo man ass, or at least lift more than him 💪🏻💪🏻😝jk
