Pragser Wildsee)
⠀
⠀
Hotel Lago di Braies -
Это must-have!

  • {🇺🇲/🇩🇪} English: Today I learned two things.
Children have two super powers that most have lost as adults.
The unconditional love and the total absence of prejudice.
I have the feeling that the world is dominated by prejudice, everyone knows everything better and wants to impose his view necessarily others, because only this is correct.
Respect and loving interaction with each other become a rarity, we alienate ourselves from humanity.
Dear people go out, smile, even if you don't feel like it, respect and accept each other because everyone has their own "right" which doesn't have to be your "right" and that's fine. Life is too short for prejudice.
At the end of the day, we all need the same air to breathe, eat for survival and love for life. Unfortunately these points aren't taken for granted today so be thankful for everything you have.

🇩🇪German: Der heutige Tag leehrte mich erneut zwei Dinge.

  • I have pretty much the same fears at 28 as I did when I was 18.

Mostly about f*cking everything up. And disappointing people. Yeah, that one. It hasn’t gotten any quieter over the years. But I think I’ve gotten a bit bolder. .

This is really cheesy 🧀🧀🧀 but in Stranger Things (yup, go with me in this) Nancy almost gives up on chasing the story because she’s told she doesn’t know what she’s doing (etc etc). And she believes it. But luckily her mom catches her just before that belief really syncs in. I think we all have those moments — I only wish we all had someone to step in before the bullshit sets in. To catch us before we give ourselves over to smaller truths. Before we lessen ourselves. Because it takes a long time to find your voice again when you’ve been told to be quiet, to make yourself small.

May we all speak up when we see that happening to each other. Grateful for the people in my life who speak up for me. Who won’t let me slip away from myself.

  • Guardian of the gate... .
.
.
When in St. Lucia, you have to check out the Sulfur Springs in Soufriere. If driving from the north of the island do know that these roads are NOT for those who are plagued with motion sickness. Being from Jamaica I thought I was use to windy roads. Nope, the roads in St. Lucia makes you feel like you are on a rollercoaster with countless inclines, descends, corners, sharp bends in the middle of a descend with trucks and speeding cars coming around the corner with no way of knowing because no one uses their horns to signal they are coming around these blind spots. Let’s just saw, I’m glad I packed some anti nausea tablets on this trip. But the trip was sooooo worth it. The taking a dip in the Sulfur Spring and getting a nice scrub left my skin feel sooooooo smooth. .

  • ⤞ What is sound healing anyway? ⤟
Using the human voice and objects that resonate to stimulate healing (think tuning forks, singing bowls, gongs, drums, didgeridoos, handpans), sound therapy is one of a growing number of subtle-energy therapies that make up the field of #vibrationalmedicine. According to the law of physics, everything vibrates: the chair you’re sitting in, the food you eat, the rocks and trees.

The sound is called resonance, the frequency at which an object naturally vibrates. Each part of our bodies has its own natural resonance, and vibrational medicine is based on the idea that disease is a result of those natural resonances getting out of tune – whether due to stress, illness or environmental factors.

Sound healing can help alleviate migraines, depression, stress, anxiety, side effects from chemotherapy, pain from misaligned vertebrae, sinus congestion, you name it. It is also a vital preventative practice. As before we get sick with any type of disease or dissonance, our energetic body vibrates at a #lowerfrequency.
〰️
.
Sound was a powerful vehicle for me on my healing journey — physically, mentally and emotionally. (Bye anxiety. Bye lower back pain. Bye shame. Bye hiding my power and fear of being seen. BASTA!) It carried me back home to my authentic self.
〰️
.
I feel so connected to this modality and want to share that same sense of relief, healing and homecoming, in hopes that others will resonate and experience it too.

——————————————————————-
🇬🇧
This year was a bit inverse: in the middle of (European) winter I traveled into the Kenyan summer, and now from summer to winter. The latter one is definitely more difficult.
Have you ever traveled into a different season?
