Misty mornings at the beautiful Ulun Danu Temple✨
This is definitely my favorite temple in Bali, located in the middle of lake Bratan makes it a truly unique place to visit🤩
Besides exploring the beautiful grounds and gardens surrounding it, you can also rent this canoe 🚣🏻♀️ called “jukung” for $7 to row around the lake which is really fun 😊
💡We arrived around 8am and we had the place to ourselves so it was a perfect time to enjoy the place ✨
Mañanas nublosas en el Ulun Danu Templo ✨

Say yes and figure it out later🤷🏼♀️🙃 Almost 2 years ago we said yes to start renting our beach house to vacationers while we traveled. We bought the house with that intention.
Had we managed a property before? No.
Had we been Airbnb hosts before? No.
Had we run a business before? No.
Had we hired anyone before? No.
Did we know anyone that ran an Airbnb? No.
Ummm that’s a lot of nos. I don’t think we had any professional experience related to running this sort of business. All we had done was STAYED in tons of Airbnbs around the world. So obvs we were so qualified 😂
Well, it was probably one of the best decisions and investments we’ve made so far together. And we had NO EXPERIENCE in it. I just had my heart set on doing this and that was pretty much it.
You’ve probably had a lot of no’s on the qualifications and experience side of things of something you’re interested in doing. And ya know what? Most successful people start projects or take on roles they had no clue how to do or had experience in. It doesn’t make you unqualified. Being proactive and determined are probably some of the best skills you can develop, to be adaptable and figure things out (hellooo, this so easier now that ever before with resources all over the internet and YouTube).
Imposter syndrome can be debilitating. But you need to learn in order to grow, so that means you MUST do things out of your comfort. Sometimes we see successful people and think they have it all covered, all figured. The difference is that determination to figure it out as you go.
So channeling this throwback from the Caribbean 😜🦋 and thinking warm thoughts as I head to single digit weather and snow for the weekend 🙈😅❄️⛄️

Low tide at Nungwi beach in Zanzibar 💧 since I was going through some old(ish) memories I couldn’t help but share this one that @dianamiaus and I captured in Zanzibar while winding down from the safari experience that I told you about in yesterday’s post. 🏝
The tides in Zanzibar are more extreme than anywhere else I have been to, and sometimes in the morning, the ocean draws back for what seems like miles, leaving part of the sea floor exposed and boats stranded. Here’s a spot where the water was already coming back, but so shallow and calm it resembled a mirror 😁
Welcome to Scotland aka my real life fairytale. ✨
⭐️SAVE POST⭐️ for best castles to visit when in Scotland. ✨🏰🏴 Falling in love with a Scottish Man definitely has its perks: the witty charm, lovely green eyes, of course the accent, the sarcastic British humor/banter & knowing that one day I’d potentially get married in Scotland (preferably in a dream castle/estate as that’s what I’ve had picture in mind anytime I sink into a daydream!) 🏰💙🤴🏻🏴🧿
I’m a sucker for shows like Downton Abbey, Outlander, Game of Thrones or anything with gorgeous castles in it, so of course Scotland instantly became my real life fairytale. Traveling from the midlands to the highlands Craig & I have been searching for our perfect Scotland wedding venue for a couple years now since that special day he went down on one knee & proposed to me on Loch Lomond! 💁🏻♂️💍👰🏻💙Can’t wait to tie the knot this summer... but for now I’ve picked my top 10 castles to visit while in Scotland below:
🏰Eilean Donan Castle (pictured)
All equally beautiful but I have to say here at Eilean Donan Castle has been my favorite so far! Tag me if you visit these beautiful castles!
📍FUN FACT: Did you know that 87% of people in Scotland have blue or green eyes? 1% of the worlds population have green eyes. If green eyes are your weakness like me... head to Scotland! #LATGscotland

Walking through Petra was just incredible.🧡 I can’t describe this place, it’s so magical you just have to see it with your own eyes!
Trip 18: New York City...18 is about what the temperature feels like right now. This Florida girl definitely forgot what that feels like ...showed up and instantly had to go find a scarf to keep my face warm! Also discovered that leggings will NOT cut it (not even fleece lined ones) But it’s all worth it, already having a great time...fingers crossed for snow tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! Follow along on stories!
Happy birthday to this dreamboat and the best husband I know! 💖 Throughout the years, you’ve redefined what love means for me. We’ve just had our hardest year yet but we didn’t break and are stronger than ever. There will be better times and worse times ahead of us but through it all, I’ll be there with your hand in mine, riding any wave life throws at us. I hope 2020 brings you everything you’ve dreamt of and a little bit more 💝✨
NEW MEXICO SERIES #2 Alien eggs in Bisti Badlands wilderness are truly one of a kind rock formations. It’s a hidden plain area having many of these otherworldly eggs on a dish surrounded by hoodoos, spacecrafts and other crazy rock formations. Doesn’t matter how well you do your research, be prepared to get lost and wander aimlessly in this trail free truly wild area for hours just to get to these, but they are so worth it ☺️
Lee: You said easy hike!
Me: But did you die????
Here are my top 5 hikes in Zion NP ranked from Sunday stroll to think I might die:
🚶🏼♀️ Riverside Walk (pictured): Looking for a stroll with little to no effort required? This is for you!
🔭Canyon Overlook Trail: Best easy hike in the park with killer views!
🧗🏼♀️The Narrows: This is in the top 5 hikes I’ve ever done. My favourite trail in the park.
💎 Emerald Pools: Medium effort required and a nice emerald pool as your reward at the top!
👼🏼 Angel’s Landing: A hard one - big heights and steep drop offs, not for the faint hearted.
when you realize it’s a long weekend 💕 swipe right to see my reaction!
In the beginning of the year, I promised myself to prioritize work-life balance in 2020. When most of your job takes place on social media, it’s easy to get glued to my phone in work issues or emails. I found myself working even on vacation but realized it was so harmful to my mental health.☁️
Little things like weekend getaways have been essential in helping me unplug and recharge. I can’t wait for my weekend away in Carmel. I loved the long carefree drive over the mountain and walking along the white sand beaches. It’s such a great time to check out the small bakeries and boutiques.🥐

Is one of the finest steak houses in New Hampshire.
The Rockingham House occupies the site of the home once owned by Judge Woodbury Langdon. When this mansion was built in 1785, it was one of the most handsome brick houses in New England. (https://libraryrestaurant.com/history-of-a-top-nh-steakhouse-library-restaurant)
A must visit place when you’re in Portsmouth, NH. ❥ ❁
This is a great place to visit. Located at the Siam area, between MBK & Paragon. Free admission. Multiple floors of art work that change in theme frequently. Love the interior architecture of the building as well. Good place to rest & unwind after all the walking. Highly recommended. 🇹🇭 🙏
