Happy hump day!
I am off to run a workshop today on how to declutter your home and keep it clutter free forever!
As I won’t be at home this morning, I will do my clean routine later this afternoon or tonight! I love the flexibility of my clean routine. Once you get to know which day is what, it’s so easy...
¿Qué opinás? ¡Los leo! #amodecasa 🙋♂🏡💖💫
This bassinet’s been in our room for almost three years. Two babies and a lot of sleepless nights later, it’s gone from sweet baby bed to clutter hot spot so it’s time for it to go.
I decided to sort though some of the baby/kids clothes at the same time so they can leave too, and this is what we’re left with. So much stuff!
Most of these clothes could be used by our younger kids, but I’ve kind of reached the point of not wanting to mess with hand me downs anymore. Our daughters are seven years apart so the idea of storing this stuff for 5-7 years just feels kind of ridiculous.
What are your thoughts about hand me downs?
My yoga teacher this morning reminded us that tonight is full moon. .
Immediately I thought about my first Reiki session... my therapist told me that Full Moon can be my worst enemy or best ally. .
Full Moon is a moment to get in touch with ourself, take a little bit of time to reflect and set an intention.

Welp this is about as vulnerable as it gets! 🙈Here is the health and fitness coach sharing her day 1 photos bc she needs to reign it in!! Oh well... guess what!! I am human and we all have some times where we have to reality check ourselves back on track!! ⠀
I show up here on social media everyday sharing my workouts, I show up on social media and I share my mindset, my positivity and my love for nutrition. I show up on social media to inspire you and today I show you that you are NOT alone. ⠀
🔹I have become really aware in the past 9 months how my food is affecting my mental clarity, my focus, my attention and mood. ⠀
🔹I have noticed that I have not been as diligent with my clean eating and it is absolutely affecting my overall productivity. ⠀
🔹I have also noticed that anxiety triggers for me are alcohol and sugar. ⠀
🔹I have decided that I truly CARE about living my best life and being the best version of myself that I can be. ⠀
So today is the day I am committing to starting my 365 day overall health experience. ⠀
Over the next 365 days I am going to focus on dialing in my nutrition and eating foods that fuel my body for the best performance and mental clarity. Wholesome foods that make me feel good ⠀
I am going to focus on moving my body 30 minutes a day. ⠀
I am going to focus on my mindset and my quality of sleep. ⠀
Lastly I am going to be elevating the quality of my personal relationships. ⠀
Living my best life means I don’t just look good on the outside but I feel good on the inside too. ⠀
It means that I am feeling in control, having fun and living fulfilled. ⠀
The journey starts today!! ⠀
I can’t wait to see what the next year will bring. ⠀
Who is ready to step into their best self too?? 🙋🏼♀️⠀
Who is tired of complicated plans and is ready to simplify things and get great results?🙋🏼♀️⠀
Who is for real ready for a fresh start?🙋🏼♀️ .
So this happened today! Normally we wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the tree, but with all the snow we’ve been getting (18” and counting...) we went for it! ❄️🎄Anyone else have a tree or decorations up yet?
Molte volte devo togliergli tempo.
Costretta a mettere a posto,
Pulire e cucinare, lavorare.
Pulisci pulisci e
E racchiuderlo in tre sorrisi!
Speriamo di riuscire,
Per ora ho quasi tutto in ordine 😛

What are your kids bedrooms like because OMG ours are a tip! I spent ALL day today decluttering, cleaning and tidying our girls room they share and I've thrown away a huge reusable sainsburys bag worth of pure junk !!! Toys that were broken or missing parts enough to make them useless and paper/ pens stashed in places they shouldn't be and wrappers! Even though they aren't allowed to eat in their rooms. I even found a half eaten lollipop from yesterday stuck inside a crop top 😭😭😭 Our girls are a nightmare when it comes to getting them to tidy up!
However they were happy to donate some toys to charity for children who don't have much to play with and I'm proud of them for that 💕 We do this every so often but they still have far too many toys
Do you declutter your kids toys often ?

** S P R I N G ** Spent a wonderful morning with a couple of friends having our colours assessed with the lovely Karen from Style by KPA https://www.facebook.com/stylebykpa/ @stylebykpa
It was lots of fun, very relaxed and we all discovered that our colour palette was “Spring” although I can wear a few of the shades from the Autumn palette.
Wearing the correct colours for our skin-tone can do so much for a person’s confidence and can take even the simplest outfit from OK to amazing!
I will be taking my “Spring” colour swatch with me when I next go shopping and aim to embrace some of the colours I had not considered wearing before, including green!
Since not everyone as as fortunate as us for the 6th time Clear the Clutter supported for one of our favorite non profits, No Kids Hungry. Only because seeing kids/ other people smile makes our hurts smile.
The No Kid Hungry campaign is ending childhood hunger in the United States. No Kid Hungry Dinners and Taste of the Nation events bring together communities across the country, people standing together to help kids in need.

This is my favorite corner in my office. It’s the Abundance area in Feng Shui which is why there is a water fountain (representing flowing money), plants my girls gave me (plants represent growth), a beautiful deep red chair (one of the colors in this area) that has travelled from house to house for years and a blanket that I knit (that I don’t let anyone sit on 😂). It’s so important that we love the space we are in. Everything is energy and all of it impacts us. What’s your favorite place in your office or home? Share in the comments. 💋 .

This utility closet went from overflowing ➡️ orderly with a few quick modifications. 💁🏼♀️
Last year I wrote a post called Thanksgiving KonMari-ing about decluttering over the holidays instead of shopping. (Well, ok I shopped a tiny bit.) This year, the sales have started earlier and so has my purging. Thank you for your service, vintage clock! (Just listed this for sale over at @noihsaf.home) And link to post in bio.
✨There are few places where a teen can express themselves and the bedroom is their top choice. Their favorite things may be diverse and unusual, but with some planning, all of their passions can tie together beautifully.
When brainstorming teen bedroom ideas, the most important thing to remember is that their bedroom is an expression of who they are.
Today’s teenagers are design-conscious and up to date on the latest trends. But they’re torn between childhood and adulthood so choose wisely!
With this bedroom redecorating after talking to Kathy we decided go with silvery fabric baskets.
We will be storing all kinds of beauty supplies in them. From shampoos, lotions, to face care and lipglosses. ✨
When we first went to look at the house we now call home, the previous owners had a copy of @mariekondo’s “The Life Changing Art of Tidying Up” on their bedroom dresser. I saw the title and just knew the book was something I was meant to read. I Amazon Prime-d my own copy and it was the beginning of a journey of becoming much more intentional about the way I Amazon Prime so that everything (read: almost everything) in my home is something I truly love. And why does this even matter to me? Because I don’t want to just spend the rest of my life accumulating junk. I want the things I own to feel meaningful to me and I want my kids to understand the value of things and where those things come from and that we don’t need a whole bunch of stuff to be happy. I want to simplify. I want to feel calmer when I walk in my front door. My journey of decluttering and shopping with intention has also included a massive tapering-down of my wardrobe; in my closet now hangs pieces I love and am exited to wear every day, not just stuff I bought because it was on sale or pieces that bring back unpleasant memories. All of this has contributed to a greater sense of well-being, more joy, and more STYLE, which I’m currently loving every minute of. Getting ready in the morning is my “me” time (even if that time is about one minute long some days) and I get to wake up and immediately start creating (another thing that makes me oh-so-happy.) If the idea of walking into your closet and saying “aaaaah” instead of “AHHH” is something you want to hear more about, tune into today’s podcast episode with image consultant/closet curator @natalieweakly! 👗 (link in profile)

✨Having gratitude helps you declutter.✨
When my oldest was little, he would get really sentimental about so many things, even the dollar store toys that would break quickly. 😬
To help our home not get totally overrun with these things, we used to thank them for the fun he had with them and then put them in the trash. It worked and made it much easier for him to let you!
We all now know this method as one that Marie Kondo uses in her Konmari approach to getting organized.
I may not fold all our items as she suggests in her book, but this is one method that has worked well in our household. I do believe that having gratitude and letting items go allows us to continually open ourselves up to new things in our lives.
Have you tried any Konmari methods? How have they worked for you?

Have you ever noticed the correlation between clutter and losing your grip?
Clutter can be a direct sign that we are unable to cope with life, that we are mentally or physically taxed so much that we cannot make the simplest decisions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At the same time, clutter causes anxiety and sensory overload, which make it impossible to relax. Thus the circle continues and we get progressively worse over time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you feel overwhelmed and unmotivated to do things in your life, take a good look around. Chances are there’s no space for your mind to work properly because of all the clutter. In this case, your first aid to yourself is not to try and rest but to start tackling the clutter. You will feel much better once you clear up your space, and your head will feel lighter. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t know about you, but I’m embarking on this quest yet once again. Cleaner home, clearer mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #clutter#declutter#clearspace#space#mentalhealth#wellbeing#wellness#environmentalwellness#clearmind#minimalism#decluttering#quotes#quiteoftheday#qotd

Winter is not coming, it's already here ❄️ Today I finished @mamaemusa 's closet, helping her to arrange all the family winter accessories in the entryway. One labelled bin for each member of the family, with their gloves and hats, and one bigger bin with scarves.
Stay warm! 🧣

Chiedete, magari riesco a rispondervi.
Lack of storage space? These @target bins are the perfect fit for under the bed kid toys. 🙌🏼🤖🚗🧸

Hi all! I wanted to post some catch up updates and see how everyone is keeping up with their purging.
I told myself at the beginning of the year that I wanted my life to be unrecognizable by Dec 2019. I'm glad to say that I've made major progress towards that goal and it's been exhausting, frustrating and sometimes filled with pride.
I had a major setback in June when my Mom passed away unexpectedly. I lost both of my parents within 2 years and the depression and grief my family suffered is immeasurable.
I am slowly digging myself out of that and started chipping away at my mininalist goals: owning the least amount of things possible, living in smaller housing, lessening my financial maintenance, less to low reliance on a day job and creating passive sources of income. All of these goals will make it easier travel more and have less to leave while I'm away. True financial independence.
I did not sell my condo and decided to take it off the market and do short term rentals via air bnb. The real estate market is getting soft and I reevaluated my goal and recently decided to turn the condo into an income producing asset. My research shows that I can earn approximately double the amount of rental income with air bnb over a regular annual lease.
Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I purchased a 2-unit apartment building earlier this year (shown here). I moved into one of the units and have a tenant in the other unit, thereby eliminating my monthly housing expense. My utility expenses are also less than my condo since my unit is considerably smaller than my condo.
So in these moves, I am able to create additional passive income, have a self sustaining rental property with the air bnb, eliminate monthly housing expense and live smaller! Another bonus is being able to write some expenses off as a landlord that I otherwise wouldn't be eligible to do.
