  • A friend told me he wanted to take his wife to Europe. 3 hours later I sent him a spreadsheet of cities complete with train times. If travel planning paid, I would do it in a heartbeat. Also, here is the mermaid from my trip to Denmark: “Felt cute, might lure sailors to their death later. Idk.” #littlemermaid #copenhagen #denmark #europe #travel #travelgram #traveling

  • See profile for link to the latest article from Maria Papasergi: “This week I was very lucky to meet with Finn Bruun, overseer of table making at Snedkergaarden in Denmark. Danish furniture has come to symbolise the almost lost world of fine craftsmanship, where making a chair completely by hand is not out of the question, but considered something to aspire to.” Read more at Slowist.org #slow #denmark #craftsmanship #furniture #design

  • Don't be disappointed nobody understands or believe in your vision, it's not theirs to see. No they won't understand, but wouldn't anyone gladly give Michael Jordan a chance to play for their basketball team? That's his reality, he is a basketballer. Don't tell people your dreams and visions, be about it, show them the reality.

See yourself as a factory equipped to make your visions a finished reality. Dream big, wake up to the struggle and make those dreams your reality. Live up to your every worth because if you can think it, you can achieve it.

  • Do you have passion? If you do, then you barely have a problem. Because it's like "Get rich or Die trying" with Passion. Passion doesn't stop, Passion doesn't limit itself for anything else. Passion fights obstacles with you.

With Passion, you keep making it till you make it. It's being about that thing you love, that thing you developed this Passion for, every single day. It's channelling your strength to what you love. If you don't have Passion for something don't waste your time with it. Even if you do it, you will never be your best at it.

  • Copenhagen travel blog... 🇩🇰
❀
❀
Copenhagen was truly memorable! It was our first stop in Europe to visit my Aunt @pedersenwheng and Cousin @ellyjope! Surprisingly, we weren’t even jetlag from our flight. We had a good snooze in the plane and arrived in Copenhagen at 6:30 AM - so we had a full day ahead of us! First stop was brunch buffet - it happens to be hubby’s birthday too! So we had a celebration with the family - and as a Danish tradition - we had the Denmark mini flag at our table. 🇩🇰 This is something that I have always admired about the Danes - their patriotism and value for culture and tradition.
❀
Then we wandered to one of the main spots frequented by tourists - Strøget - one of the longest pedestrian only shopping streets in Europe. Next stop was the Rundetaarn (Round Tower) - which serves as an observatory with the best views of the old town of Copenhagen. We spent the rest of day exploring the city’s most iconic spots: Christianborg, Amalienborg Palace - where we witnessed the changing of the guards, and of course to see the Little Mermaid which was quite fascinating as tourists flocked to get a close glimpse of her! We capped the day with a relaxing stroll at a park by the harbour, overlooking Copenhagen’s Opera House where we admired the Danes’ relaxed lifestyle, cafe and bike culture - it somehow reminds us of Sydney, sans the bikes! ✨
❀
The next day, we visited the free town of Christiana - a hippy community somewhat independent from Denmark with their own set of laws - and became infamous for tolerating cannabis trade. It was a very interesting tour and an eye opener to see a different way of life within Copenhagen. Our favorite tour was on board the boat sailing down the city’s charming waterways. Copenhagen is an old harbour and maritime city - and cruising was one of the best ways to admire its infrastructure and beauty. Then we had some time to spare at the Tivoli Gardens - the second-oldest amusement park in the world - which opened in August 1843. It is a must-visit when in Copenhagen and is directly at the heart of the city!
