Ingredientes
1 hoja de hojaldre congelado, descongelado
Crema pastelera
1 1/2 tazas de leche
1/2 taza de azúcar
Una pizca de sal
1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla
3 cucharadas de maicena
3 yemas de huevo, batidas
1 cucharada de mantequilla
1 taza de arequipe o dulce de leche
Preparación
Precaliente el horno a 400F.
Prepare 2 bandejas para hornear con papel pergamino y reservar.
Cortar la masa pastelera en 3 tiras a lo largo de marcas de plegado. Colocar en una bandeja para hornear y hacer un par de agujeros en el cada masa con un tenedor. Hornee por 15 minutos o hasta que estén doradas. Dejar que se enfríe sobre una rejilla.
En una olla mediana colocar la leche y llevar a fuego lento. Mientras tanto, en un tazón pequeño mezcle el azúcar, la maicena y la sal.
Añadir poco a poco la mezcla de maicena a la leche y cocinar revolviendo con frecuencia cerca de 6 minutos o hasta que espese. Batir las yemas y cocine por 2 minutos más revolviendo con frecuencia.
Agregue el extracto de vainilla y mantequilla,y retirar del fuego.
Dejar enfriar a temperatura ambiente, cubra y refrigere hasta que esté listo para usar.
Usando un tenedor, dividir cada masa en 2 capas. Extender la crema pastelera en 1 capa de pastel. Repite las capas. This is a must try, extra special Easter treat for you all! And everyone is allowed a cheeky treat (or ten) over the Easter weekend

Indulge a little and don’t be too hard on yourself over the break. If you end up inhaling a whole packet of hot cross buns or eat enough chocolate to put Charlie and his chocolate factory out of business that’s ok! You are only human and if you are able to resist all the choccies treats this Easter than you’re self control should be studied 🙌🍫 .

• 500g melted chocolate (I used a combination of both dark and milk)
• 3/4 cup roasted peanuts
• 1 cup desiccated coconut
• 1 1/2 cups chopped marshmallows • 3 cups mixed chocolate eggs (I used plain, caramel, turkish delight, egg shell and clinkers) .

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl but reserve 2 cups of small Easter eggs to decorate
Line a dish with baking paper and pour in mixture. Top with remaining eggs and put in the fridge until set
Use a hot knife to cut up into chunks and try not to eat it all in one hit!
