Such an amazing experience... standing in Dove Lake at 4am, it was -7c with not a breath of wind, the stars reflected perfectly in the water.
I felt like I was floating in space... ✨

If you ask most travelers about the color of the opera house, they'd confidently declare it white or beige.
But there are more than 1 million Swedish roof tiles covering the structure -- and they actually change color as the day goes on, mirroring the sky.
In the evening, the opera house transforms, as if absorbing the pinks and oranges of the sky.
Ok I thought my last photo would be the last of my early morning walk/work travel shots...But then I remembered this one.
While I was staying up at Tweed Heads a couple of weeks ago I tried to get a decent photo of the Life Guard Tower in full daylight, but I couldn’t quite make it work.
This shot was taken right in front of the Rainbow Bay Surf Club.
Little Thursday tidbit about myself...
•I’ve been to Australia 4 times 🤯(over 100 hours of flying there and back) •The sea foam, ocean blue has always been one of my favourite colours. 🌊 • I’ve been using a camera since I was 12 📷 •I grew up in Kelowna but was born in Grandforks BC 🇨🇦 •I will always crave @annieshomegrown macaroni and cheese more than a glass wine...always. 🧀
Camouflage mode ON!💁🏻♀️
Newtown is Sydney's most happening suburb, period.💯✔ A leisurely stroll along King street brought us to a long line of hip cafes and pubs,🍻 vintage clothing stores, a theatre🎭, restaurants offering every cuisine there is from Latin American to Middle Eastern🤤 and walls teeming with an explosion of murals!🎨🖌 We were in Newtown hoping to spend an hour or two hunting for street arts, but ended up spending half a day there.🙈 Time well spent!😅
The little penguin 🐧🐧❄️ (Edyptula minor) .. So delighted to see the Aussie Wildlife in their natural habitat, not in a zoo neither in a “animal park” that’s it’s the same thing as the zoo; if you care about animals and nature as well, do not encourage those kind of business; it’s our duty to protect them and that’s mean to let them be in their NATURAL PLACE! Think wise for Nature‼️‼️

If we could have our time in Australia again, I'd probably settle in Sydney sooner. Don't get me wrong, Melbourne is an incredible city but there's something about Sydney that captivates me. The people, the weather, the culture... I'll miss it all.
First thing that caught my attention was the LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS design, but then once I saw the inside I knew this store deserved all the attention.
It's amazing what you find when wandering around in the dark. I visited this location three years ago and couldn't get my bearings to get back there. A couple of weeks ago I was out with @seabraephotos who suggested we head down this dead end road. This is what we found.
