April 22nd is World Earth Day. 🌏 This years theme is 'Protect our species'. The unprecedented global destruction and rapid reduction of plant and wildlife populations are directly linked to causes driven by human activity: climate change, deforestation, habitat loss, trafficking and poaching, unsustainable agriculture, pollution and pesticides to name a few. The impacts are far reaching.
If we do not act now, extinction may be humans most enduring legacy.
Happy #earthday (Australia time zone) // what are some ways you advocate for the environment? I like to swap my plastic containers for glass or stainless steel, use cardboard boxes for produce from the farmers markets, explore landscapes and give thanks to Mother Gaia for providing for us, encouraging people to exercise and move outside, and reduce trash: compost and reducing plastic. There’s so many small steps we can take to supporting what’s more sustainable for our earth. We don’t have to spend big bucks on stylish zero waste items. The swap is simple. Embrace the swap. Grateful for another day of exploring the great outdoors of Queensland.
I can’t believe the school holidays are over again. Only one more term until we are back on the road again. 🤞🏻 it comes around fast!!

#mountgreville in the Scenic Rim region. An incredible scramble, breathtaking views, watched some eagles soaring and caught the sunset over the mountains. Wrapping up an amazing Easter weekend in style 🤩
