You probably hear it all the time…. meditate and you’ll be full of bliss and all that hippy woo woo stuff. I bet you probably don’t find time to do any meditating but the thought of it does intrigue you.
Well I am telling you that even if you grab a few minutes a day and just breathe deeply that will make a massive difference on your day, especially how you start your day. Pop some yummy oils on and breathe those in deeply, right down to your belly – that’s what I tell my kids. The difference in their day is quite evident.
You can ask Mr Google about the benefits of meditation; the science is all there. But I am going to tell you the simple fact – you can human better. That’s it. Don’t we all want that? FORGIVE…now that’s a word that we don’t usually use. I am talking about forgive because I need it. Why you ask? Ill share with you an intimate story. So make a cuppa and if you are my family STOP reading.
Recently I got out the home waxing strips & thought YES I am going to save money & do the wax. Do the cheap thing. Do the wax myself. So I apply the strips to the area know as the bikini area. I follow the instructions and pat pat it down and go for the big rip….well…. at this point I was between crying, screaming and punching the instructions box. I tell you that bloody box LIED. The wax did not come off, the wax stayed in a delicate place. Hmm I wiped the tears away, added my weight in coins to the swear jar and uncrumpled the instructions, desperate to see how to take the the wax off. Nope nothing, not even a gentle…Mate, you are stuffed – do not collect $200 – just go to jail.
I tried soap, I tried shampoo – Nope….I was racking my mind thinking what the hell gets sticky pink wax off?? Lightbulb….TEA TREE gets allllllll things off. 45 mins after the ordeal & the tea tree is gently taking off the wax and healing my dignity.
All in all, I was ok…. job not done but I was alive. The wax strips ripped up, stomped on and thrown in the bin. Stupid idea really – why I brought it I don’t know.
So Forgive? Why did I start with forgive? After all that I needed to forgive myself for the torture I inflicted on a delicate area. The emotional benefits of this oil help to bring forgiveness, it helps to alleviate feelings of being critical, resentful, bitter and blaming (clearly there was plenty of that going on!)
Spearmint is also worthy of a mention here as I needed to inhale from the bottle to put a pep back in my step. I near passed out from the pain and horror so beautiful spearmint brought me back to myself. Sharp, minty and fresh – how my evening SHOULD have been,
Finding quiet moments in your day, this I believe is a super power we all have. We just need to realise it. You my friend, have this amazing super power.
Here I’m sitting journaling like a mad woman as I knew that I only had a short few minutes before I rejoined my friends. Sometimes my journaling takes a form of its own, like a stream of conscious thoughts that I have not idea where they came from. Sometimes I don’t want to reread the notes as I’m not sure what messages my subconscious is about to tell me.

This is happening again...... Unfollowing ....... Why, o why are there so many accounts that I used to love getting "notions". I gave a couple a chance to redeem themselves since the last unfollowing post but lads ye let me down .... I hate to tell ye ... Ye put you're trousers on one leg at a time like us all
Just because your following has grown don't turn into a dick

I worry til the knot in my stomach hurts so much I feel sick
I worry and lie awake at night
Why? ... It's who I am.... It's something I'm dealing
But it's something I'll get better dealing with
I know it's the oldest cure in the world but .... Stop

Do you have a morning routine? ⏰
Mine starts with meditating followed by making a celery shot or green juice, and then I wait 15 minutes before making my beloved first cup of coffee! 🥝
I love to drink my coffee while looking out over the back garden and watch the sun come up. It's one of the most beautiful moments of my day, and I cherish it. ☕️ 🌅
Next, I write my affirmations and then spend an hour on personal development. 📝
Once I have woken the kids up and made them breakfast, I take a hot shower, apply my essential oils, take my supplements and dress. 💧🌿 When I don't start my morning like this, I feel "off" all day. 🤪
I never sleep in, even on my days off, I'm definitely a morning person and up with the larks! 🤩
This will me me today ....
(Whoever said Kermit I've a certain set of skills ........) I've been threatening to do this for a while, there are a few that need the chop for my own good.
I'm getting agitated watching them and life's too short.
This could loose me some followers and that's ok too but I can't keep watching the accounts that are forever "woo is me" or that are so false they're sickening .
There's an even balance and we need to find it
Everyone has crap days (everyone!!! No one can avoid this ) let us know definitely what's going on that's why we followed you, there are so many on here that have suffered loss or have health issues etc and they have been so dignified in their feed with what they show us
If I started doing the "woo is me" I'd have no followers
For example me over the last couple years:
2 horrible court proceedings
Dad diagnosed with lung cancer, passed away after 3 months
Mum admitted to hospital while Dad in same hospital
Mum had heart attack 5 months after Dad passed away
Single Mom struggles everyday
And so on and so on ... My life has been utter shit but there are people out there so worse off than me.
Balance is key
Try and find the good in every day, it mightn't feel like it some days but even one small thing will help you through the day.
We can get up and get out and enjoy the nice weather (lots of people can't)
When I see my Wife sipping a coffee in the hot tub after her Morning exercise (7 mile run), I know I am in the right relationship.
Self care of the Body-Mind-Soul allows you to be AT your best, to GIVE your best.
