  • I was lucky enough to spend HOURS of quality time with my brilliant friend Danielle yesterday. She's amazingly unplugged - no social media, barely can work her phone (and is happy about it) and only uses her laptop for shopping. She also wrote a memoir which she just sold to a major production company for a TV pilot...and she wrote it over the course of a year - on her iPhone Notes app! - everyday while waiting for her kids at school pick up. She's incredible. ⁣

We got uninterrupted, tech-free, unplugged girl time to actually TALK. My take-aways from the time? I'm lucky to have really smart, engaging, motivated and inspiring people from every corner of the globe and from every walk of life in my life. I'm not settling or slowing down for anyone! Keep your standards high and make sure the company you keep inspires you to continue to do more! 😉💪🏼💎🙌🏼👸🏻🔥⁣

  • Estoy muy triste y mus disgustada. Tengo ganas de vomitar, no por la comida, sino por perfiles de gente que me he encontrado al meterme en alguno de los hagstags que uso.

Me ha puesto mal cuerpo y revuelto el estómago ver cómo muchas chicas y chicos suben fotos de gente con anorexia, enfermxs diciendo que ojalá tuvieran ellxs ese cuerpo.

No saben lo que dicen, esto es algo muy duro y difícil de superar. Es mucho tiempo, sufrimiento y dolor.

Deberían estar censuradas esas cuentas que promueven  tener ese cuerpo, no es saludable, yo estoy muy por debajo de mi peso y no le deseo a nadie pasar por esto ni por asomo.

HORRIBLE. No deberían estar permitidas de verdad. Además de hacer trigger a muchas personas 😔

  • Una de los momentos más duros de todo el día.

Después de los platos de comida, con una cantidad mucho mayor a la que había estado comiendo durante meses, mi tensión comienza a caer en picado.
Toda mi sangre se concentra principalmente en órganos encargados de hacer la digestión.

He llegado a tener 42 pulsaciones y 7 4 de tensión. Muy bajita. Lo paso fatal, porque ver que tengo esa tensión me provoca ataques de ansiedad, me da miedo.

Solución: déjate llevar por el sueño, así el rato malo pasa y descansas, dejas que toda la energía se emplee en digerir y repartir los nutrientes por las diferentes áreas que más lo requieren 💚

  • Anytime anyone knows that I run they say, “I don’t know why or how you run. I hate it.” I tell them, “I have been running now for 10 years and every time I lace up I hate it, until I love it. Even after all these years.” It true. The first 7 minutes I am thinking, “Why am I doing this? It’s too hot. It’s too cold. I am starving. This is awful. It’s going to be short run. This sucks. I am stupid. Why the hell do I do this?” EVERY DAMN TIME!! Once that mile is done and I find my groove, my pace, my breathe, the adrenaline kicks in, the endorphins start working, and the oxygen gets moving to my brain I find myself lost in my thoughts. I find myself going farther, faster, longer, but most importantly, I find my why. I find my smile. I find my Joy. I find myself. It’s this feeling that I remember and the kick ass feeling I experience after that motivates me to keep lacing up and find my why.
