Donkeys and Cleo the adorable dwarf donkey who lost her winter coat and looks totally different. They use Cleo for the local hardware store’s mascot. Too cute! Oh and a new pony suddenly appears in the paddock we have no idea - and Misty the white station red was apparently swapped because our landlords did such an amazing job on helping her overcome her fear of woman and trauma. Sad. All the donkeys are rehomed too
- Cleo had such neglect to her teeth that they grew UP into her skull. Dentist said that if these teeth hadn’t been removed within two years they would have reached her brain and killed her. The tooth they removed was as long as my finger and they kept it for study as they had never seen a poor case like it before.
- Donny was donated by the farrier on behalf of people he knew that couldn’t care for him. So when Donny got stuck in the mud last year in May our landlady slept by his side under a cover all night!! She refused to leave his side for days -literally - she didn’t go to the house unless she had to pee. An amazing woman! He survived despite a very small chance of surviving that the vet insisted to put him down but she wouldn’t give up.
- Stellar is 30 years old with 30cm ears! Old girl was so neglected in her paddock on short grass the dentist explained her teeth have been completely worn flat to the gums. She has no teeth!! How she is alive is a miracle.
- Jillian was donated by a petting zoo as the couldn’t care for her and extremely malnourished. #savinganimals #donkey #dwarfdonkey #dwarf #farmanimals #chickens #ducks #pony #majestic #carrots #afterworkroutine #farmlife
