Today is such a better day than Monday was. I may be tired from being up late playing soccer, but nothing like a new day 🙃
I had a short but great speed workout today for Track Tuesday! •• Took my warmup and cool down VERY easy. My legs were pretty sore from my soccer game. (It's amazing how many different muscles you use when you aren't just running) I can feel the difference from casing a ball and the quick turns. But I LOVE it, sooo happy to be back playing! It's great form or cross training am I right?! ⚽ 🤪
Today's Workout Breakdown: 🏃🏼♀️ 🏃🏼♀️ 🏃🏼♀️ 🏃🏼♀️ 🏃🏼♀️
• 2 mile easy warmup with drills and 2 100m strides
• 2x (3x 300m at 6:00/mi-6:05/mi) with 100m jog rolling into the next
• Between the 2 sets I easy jogged 400m
• 1 mile easy cooldown

To answer all those questions, here why waking up at 4am for me it’s important:
1- I need to leave the house by 5:15am;
2- I need my full hour alone to focus on ME so I can focus on my notaries at the office;
3- I need my full hour alone to do my morning routine;
4- It’s been a part of my routine since May 2017;
5- All the above start my day on the good feet !! Where’s why you should also be waking up before 6am: - Waking up early in the morning is one of the secrets to success of successful people around the world;
- If you start your work in the morning you are more likely to finish it;
- QUIETITUDE. No kids yelling, no phone calls;
- When you wake up while others are sleeping your body tells you that you are a leader. This will boost your mentally, attitude and work ethic drastically!

Some might think I’m crazy for getting up at 5am to workout but the days I get up early are some of my best, most productive and relaxed days.
Today was a perfect example. Started my day with a 5:30a group cycling class led by @stevendcamp. Followed that up with a fun photo shoot with @truetoselfphoto and then coffee with @melpridemore talking all things fitness and training. Enjoyed a few moments to relax before school pickup and switching gears to mom time.
Getting my workout out first and foremost allows me to be the best version of myself all day long, not only for me but for my family. Fitness is more than just for weight loss or muscle gains. Though there is nothing wrong with either, my workouts make me a better person inside and out, help keep me sane and always set me up for a great day.

Omg im so tired! Couldnt nap today, had to sort out my iac settings.. Almost got it done but had to go to work laptopless abd made it pretty smoothly, few more tweaks and it eill drive like a regular ole daily again! 2nd shift is NOT for me!!
