I had one night to make a panorama of the Milky Way when I arrived before the moon lit the sky for the next two weeks.
Fortunately, when I woke at 4am the sky was incredibly clear and the light pollution from the town of Tombstone was not terrible (visible on the right). On the left side of the image is the Sheepshead formation, the southwestern corner of the Stronghold.
33 images were stitched to create this panorama, 3 rows of 11 photos shot in a vertical orientation.
“If two men in a world of more than 7 billion people can provide €300million ($338,979,00) to restore Notre Dame, within six hours, then there is enough money in the world to feed every mouth, shelter every family and educate every child. The failure to do so is a matter of will, and a matter of system.” - Carl Kinsella
People (and smiles like Soph) are more important than buildings!
