Yes. You are going to overeat at first, BUT NOT FOR LONG!!! I promise. At first it’s super exciting because you can eat what you want when you want. OF COURSE you’re going to go for the FUN foods when you let go of your food rules, because you CAN!

You’re FINALLY allowed to enjoy things like chocolate, pizza, donuts, burgers, Chinese take out, candy, BREAD, cereal, & all the things WITHOUT FEELING GUILTY! It is so freaking amazing, & the very best part is that BECAUSE it’s guilt-free, your body processes it VERY differently than it did before

It’s not laden with stress & remorse & regret, so your body is able to process it without that rise in cortisol, meaning it’s not as likely to be stored as fat. It’ll just be used for energy

And trust me, once the honeymoon phase wears off, eating tacos for every meal starts to get really old. You’ll start to naturally find a balance between ALL food (not good or bad, just food), & it will be SO easy

I know, it’s terrifying at first. You haven’t trusted yourself in a long time, but I’m telling you now that you CAN & WILL do this, & it will be the best thing you ever did for yourself

Let go of the rigidity. Accept what is, & do what feels good to you. That includes eating normal food with freedom & liberation

Ingredients:⁣
➡️2 eggs beaten⁣
➡️1.5 cups diced fresh pineapple⁣
➡️1 large red pepper diced⁣
➡️1 large carrot (added, not in orig. recipe)⁣
➡️3/4 cup chopped green onion⁣
➡️1/2 cup crushed cashews⁣
➡️2 cups cooked rice of choice⁣
➡️Soy sauce⁣
➡️Siracha⁣
➡️Lime⁣
⁣
Directions:⁣
⁣
1. Boil rice in own pot and prepare all fruit/veggies⁣
⁣
2. Heat large pan, and drop 1 tsp of oil on it ONCE hot⁣
⁣
3. "Scramble" just the eggs and then move them to a medium dish⁣
⁣
4. Place another tsp of oil in pan and cook pineapple, pepper, and carrot until juices disappear (3-5mins), then add green onions⁣
⁣
5. Remove all contents from pan and into egg bowl, then add 1 tsp of oil and crushed cashews to the hot, empty pan⁣ ⁣
6. Cook cashews for 3 mins then add the cooked rice⁣
⁣
7. Add 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce to rice and cashews, then stir⁣
⁣
8. Add scrambled eggs and fruit/vegetable mix to rice+cashews⁣
⁣
9. Turn heat off and mix all ingredients until even⁣
⁣
10. On the side, I stir-fryed chicken in soy sauce for protein!!⁣

  • No cooking was happening tonight... Swimming with cheeky spice

Hubby getting food shop on his way home as the fridge was looking like a condiments store rather than food store
Helping the new members and all the you can team....
so it was a quick Waitrose drive by on the way back from swimming.

Having not eaten yesterday’s burrata I grabbed a bag of salad and a shove it in the oven moussaka!

It was delicious! 
I’d completely forgotten moussaka existed!!! Not a veg ninja day but that’s ok... A good 900 calories on my plate of beautiful rich flavours and cheese 😍 
The open the bag salad and shove it in the oven dinner enabled me to carry on with paperwork and hubby to put the shopping away 
Sometimes we put to much pressure on ourselves to do everything all the time 
Well fuck that 
Tonight I was not peeling, dicing, chopping... And that’s ok

Don’t overwhelm yourself 
You don’t need to 
Somedays you will be a veg ninja and somedays you will open a packet 
They are both ok ✌🏻

8 years ago he carried me off the trail when I couldn’t complete my half marathon.  I can still remember the pain and the tears like it was yesterday. 
Running was my passion and it was not easy giving it up.  Luckily, I was able to fill that void by modifying my at home workouts. Some days I even struggle with those. Today we went to an orthopedic surgeon and we are beginning this mission to resolve the problem. David asked all the right questions and says we WILL get to the bottom of it.  It’s still a bit of a mystery and I will be trying a series of things.  It won’t happen over night, but we are on a mission!

Със сигурност сте чували не веднъж за "разделното хранене" и ползите от него. За мен лично този принцип не беше познат, преди да попадна на книгата "Сила за живот", но веднага щом прочетох за него, разбрах, че това е най-логичният начин да поддържаш добра форма и здраве, без да се лишаваш от нещата, които обичаш. Какво имам предвид. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Правилното комбиниране на храните изисква да не се смесват в едно хранене повече от един вид концентрирана храна. А кои са концентрираните храни - всички, които не са плод и зеленчук. Например, месо, риба, картофи, ориз, сирене, хляб и т.н. Смесването на такива храни затруднява храносмилането ви, на тялото му е нужна повече енергия, за да се справи с тях, това ви прави изморени - не случайно след хранене често искате да си починете. А реално храната трябва да ви дава енергия, а не да ви я отнема, нали така? "Да вземем за пример месото и картофите, една много разпространена комбинация. Представете си, че ядете пържола. Веднъж попаднала в стомаха ви, тази концентрирана белтъчина се нуждае от специален стомашен сок, който да я разгради, по-точно от кисел разтвор. Но същестевременно сте изяли печен картоф. При топлинната му обработка той се е обезводнил и е станал концентриран продукт, съдържащ скорбяла. Стомашният сок, необходим за разграждането на тази храна, вече няма да е киселинен, а алкален. Те се неутрализират взаимно. Трябва да бъдат произведени повече стомашни сокове, а това отнема време и енергия. Най-после тази недобре смляна храна, след като е прекарала часове в стомаха, чрез перисталтиката се препраща към другите органи. Повечето белтъчини, престояли в стомаха толкова дълго, са загнили. По-голямата част от въглехидратите е ферментирала. Но гниенето и ферментацията са два процеса, които при никакви обстоятелства не могат да бъдат от полза за тялото."
Опитайте да приемате по една концентриана храна на ядене, в комбинация единствено с плодове или зеленчуци. Така няма да се лишавате от любимите си храни, а и ще имате повече енергия и сили. 😉

  • Već skoro 10 dana svaki dan imam užasnu želju da pojedem jetricu. Zapravo ne želju nego fizičku potrebu! A ja sam naučila kada nešto tijelo tako jako želi postoji razlog i treba mu udovoljiti. I naravno da već 10 dana ne mogu uhvatiti svježu jetricu. I dodjem sada doma s posla, otvorim zamrzivač jer ga moram praznit, dolaze pilići u nedjelju. I nađem...tanananaaaa - domaću jetricuuuu 😄💪👏🤗❤ taj vrisak sreće ne može se usporediti s ničim. Evo umirem od gladi ali strpljivo odleđujem svoje blago jer ja to moram pojesti sad i odmah 😍😍😍
Udovoljavate li vi svojim potrebama i povezujete li ih sa stanjem svog organizma? Znate li zasto neku hranu zelite? 
Raspoznajete li emotivnu i fizicku potrebu za hranom? Znate li kada neku hranu treba vase tijelo, a kada vasa glava ili "srce"?
Meni je trebalo puno ucenja i istrazivanja ali sada znam savrseno saslusati svoje tijelo ❤

  • Looking for a fun way to incorporate more fiber and protein into your sweet treats? Try this CHICKPEA COOKIE DOUGH 🍪

I took a tip from @frommybowl and gave this a try and it was delicious 😋 It’s not overly sweet, light, and similar texture to cookie dough.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I ended up using canned chickpeas which does leave a subtle lingering “bean” flavor  but you can also soak + cook your own chickpeas from scratch! Modified recipe below but you can find Caitlin’s full recipe on her blog.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To make the CHICKPEA COOKIE DOUGH, you will need:
• 1 can organic chickpeas (drained, rinsed, and soaked in water 12 hours)
• 1/4 cup tiger nut butter (can sub cashew or almond butter)
• 1/4 cup organic maple syrup
• 1/4 cup organic almond flour
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of @redmondrealsalt
• 1/2 cup @enjoylifefoods dark chocolate chips
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Drain and rinse chickpeas and soak in a sealed container with water overnight (this helps to get rid of some of the excessive “chickpea taste). You can also soak and cook your own chickpeas if you don’t use canned!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a large food processor, combine chickpeas, tiger butter, almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt. Pulse blend until texture is smooth (you may need to use a spatula to move content around).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One blended and smooth, fold in dark chocolate chips and serve! Store in the fridge up to 4 days. Enjoy!
