Happy Saturday! I went for a run and I was so starving, so I made myself a flourless sweet potato coconut mango chicken burger. You gotta try this if you don’t want to make your diet look boring! 🌟For the sauce I didn’t put any sugar just use mango to bring out the natural sweetness. I can’t believe it taste soooo good with chicken and sweet potato buns. It’s savory, sweet and sour with creamy coconut flavor. Here what you need!
Sauce: 3 tbsp of organic coconut milk, pink salt, paprika, 2 medium slices of mangos, half of lime squeezed, half of red cayenne chilly. Combine all the ingredients and blend them until they become creamy and smooth. You can also replace coconut milk with coconut cream if you don’t care about calories.

🍌🍳 Delicious sweet & savoury dishes at Popina in Mayfair 🍳🍌
Popina offers a wide variety of all day dishes - eggs, salads, sweet french toasts & even stews & curries in the evening! 😍
My favourite dish that I tried was the SMOOTH peanut butter, banana & TOFFEE french toast 🤤 I love this combo & for £8.50 I think this dish is a winner 🍌
I also tried the shakshuka which was seasoned well - it comes in the pan it’s cooked in - unfortunately the eggs were hard but I think this was because I took a while taking photos so the eggs continued to cook 😅 - I was torn between ordering this & the green shakshuka & cheese melt which is fried eggs with spinach & melted cheese which I’ve heard is amazing 😍🤤
This was my second visit to @popinaldn & I will definitely pop back before a hard days shopping oh Ox Street 😉 Overall this is a lovely pocket sized cafè-Deli with seats outside & inside & they even sell their own cook book which could be a great gift for Christmas!

Easy peasy Recipe- Chop tomatoes finely... add gingelly oil in a pressure cooker ( a little more than you usually do) Mix chilli powder or homemade sambar powder & salt with the tomatoes and add it to the pressure cooker.
Pressure cook the mix for 15 to 20 whistles keeping the flame on low to medium. One pressure settles open the lid. Temper mustard seeds, urad , curry leaves, fenugreek seeds and add the tadka to the mix.
You can store in the fridge and use for a week once its cooled down.

This Blackberry Smoothie Bowl recipe includes frozen Blackberries, almond milk and almond butter , making it the perfect vegan breakfast. Plus it tastes amazing! .
1 TBS almond butter
2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
2 TBS almond milk
Oranges are in season!! And if you haven't tried our orange and coconut semolina cake yet, you seriously must give it a try! Pieces are nice and thick, different than yummy hareeseh. It has a wonderful chew, a beautiful, crispy, golden brown crust (I like it extra toasted on the top😋) and the taste of fresh oranges in every bite😍!
It truly is a delectable winter dessert. Refreshing and delicate on the palate, yet very sweet and best enjoyed with mint tea! ❤

Here it is served aside of some labaneh mka'baleh and tangy green Palestinian olives, all of which are drizzled with a fruity, bitter and pungent olive oil from home. This is as authentic as it gets, and we can't think of a better way to start the day.
