Good morning! So this happened last night 😍 Again, I had that feeling when I woke up, that first I wanna have a coffee and look at my art-baby and how she is doing 😄 And she dried just fine 🙏🏻 (DM if interested to purchase!)
Another thing I noticed; I was so tired that I forgot the clean the brushes and now they are ruined 🙈
I also started another painting with the same blue, but she is not yet ready for the world 😌
About that blue💙
I think it's obvious from my current portfolio that my favorite colors for painting are white and blue, but it wasn't obvious for me before. I NEVER thought blue is my favorite color. And it still isn't. But for some reason, when I PAINT, blue resonates with me in a totally different way than any other colors.
This is very fascinating to me. For example, in many other things in life I prefer light pink, and one of my favorite artist @carolinagruner uses pink so beautifully and in the same way she is very connected to those colors. And I would love to use the same kind of pink pallets, but when I do paint only with pinks or reds for example, I don't get the same calm therapeutic effect as I do with blue and white. I think this is something very deep and beyond my understanding of the human mind and colors and why this happens.
Don't get me wrong, I still like to paint with different colors - I like to paint in general and try different things.
But the stongest sense of "finally being truly and deeply me, happy and in peace", at least for now, it comes from blue and white. 🙏🏻😌
Do you have any thoughts on why this happens? I would like to dig deeper on this subject in the coming posts.

This piece represents the last few weeks I’ve spent, having Bell’s palsy. It’s about finding the eye of the storm and counting each day as a step forward, while also reflecting on the bigger picture.
After a few gruelling weeks out of action, I’m slowly making my way back into life. I’m super grateful to be almost back to my normal and that I had the opportunity to rest, reflect and recover 😁
