The reveal of the hamsa I was working on earlier this week. It turned out spectacular! The mica powders stayed exactly where I brushed them into the mold. I mixed up some resin and tinted it with black pigment and poured it straight into the dust painted mold. I used mica colors from @islandmicasandmore and I'm so happy with the lovely rich colors! With the black background the bright orange edges turned a lovely gold copper and that was a nice unexpected result. Color science is so interesting.
I am going to put the finished piece up soon along with a handful of other pieces from other projects. *My personal molds are always from my imperfect molds so that's why the incense hole is missing*
