  • What discipline do you ride? If you’ve been following along - you know I’m a Dressage chick and I know it’s foreign to many! 🐎 I’m an Adult Amateur, meaning I am not a professional, and currently compete with Rayne at Third Level. The higher the level, the more difficult the movements (among many other things). What Dressage questions do you have?! This photo is from our day of schooling at the show on Friday! Rayne looks awfully unenthused. 😂

  • So I ending up not being able to go to the open ride because Cash wouldn’t load in the trailer.... and the weather is terrible and rainy... we are gonna try to plan a day to work with him and get him to load. If you guys have any suggestions on how to get a horse that won’t trailer into the trailer that would be great!!

  • ANY TIPS FOR BREAKING IN THESE BABIES? 😍 my new @deniroridingboots. It wasn’t until recently I was taught how a tall boot was SUPPOSED TO fit. I had been riding in boots that were too short and too big - and I had no idea 😂. I found @exceptionalequestrian’s business card in my purse months after my trip to Wellington. A few emails later, she had these shipped out and on their way to me in time for my big show - they fit like a glove and I can’t wait to get riding!

  • Santinos flat work with poles yesterday! This horse has come so far in his flat work since I’ve owned him these last 6 months. •

Flatwork is so essential especially as hunter/jumper riders. It is easy to get caught up in jumping all the time. Did you know the easiest way to perfect seeing a distance is from flat work? Here are some of my tips for getting in a great flat ride everytime:
1. Start by walking around for 10 to 15 minutes to get your horses muscles warmed up. You can do so much from a walk for building muscles. Make sure you have a good, forward moving walk. Start on a long rein. After a few minutes start to pick up contact and then doing leg yields, circles, walk over poles, back up, and basically any exercises to make them use their body.
2. Lots and lots of transitions. Best way to get your horse to listen to you.
3. Poles for days. Ride over every pole or small cavaletti you can. Count your distances and try to keep counting from farther and farther away.

  • Happy birthday Mansouri 💕🎉 My little baby turned 7 today! Can’t believe he’s with me for over 4 years now!! This time we celebrated his birthday with a party with his horsefriends Fly & Maleika 🤩 We picked up @thatarabianhorse and drove to a parking lot to met @_team.fly_ 🦄🦄🦄 What a dream to ride with both our adventure buddys together. We went for a 17km exploring tour and had just such a beautiful time! Now it’s really late & dark and we just got home again so I’m sitting beside Mansour while he’s eating his birthday dinner 💗 I’m forever grateful to have such a companion in my life and hope for many many more birthdays with him!

  • 🎉🎊Endlich 18 🎊🎉

🍀 #franzferdinand #franziskus #pferdeschönheiten #instapferd #pferdestars #dressur #dressage #instadressur #instadressage #ride #riding #dressuurreiten #dressagride #dressageriding #dressurpferd #dressurpony #dressagehorse #dressagepony #horseblog #happyhorse #happyhorses #equinephoto #equine #ponyrider
