I almost didn’t take these comparison pictures today because I felt pretty bloated and just blah but I’m so glad I did! Patience=progress. Throughout this journey I’ve really had to realize to be patient with myself and my body. The beautiful woman who I call my friend @laurenhuyser told me a while back when I was really struggling to always be comfortable in the stage that I was in and that has really always resonated with me. I’m so far from the unhealthy version of me that I once was and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come! You should be too! Huge thanks to our meal plan Mama @myadventuretofit for leading by example ❤️

Feeling on top of the world today! I am stronger than ever before and working towards crushing my 2019 goal! If you asked me a year ago where I thought I would be right now, it definitely wouldn’t be here. I’m so absolutely proud of myself for staying strong and keeping going. I’ve spent the last few months loosely doing the 21 Day meal plan (link is in my bio) and I’ve loved how it’s helped me so far. A lot of you don’t know I already lost 100 lbs back when I was around 18 years old but managed to gain it all back after I had my daughter plus some. I have always known eating clean is the answer but it took me a bit to value myself enough to put that idea into motion. Do yourself a favor and choose you. Wake up every single day and choose you. ❤️❤️

This vid highlights many things for me.
1- the amazing support we get from the @pole180studio - not only it's instructors, but all the girls in class too - just listen at how excited all the girls get when I nail(ish) that move!! I might have been able to do more, but I was super stoked about just getting the first bit!
2- that if we work at something, even if we think we couldn't do it, we just might need to push ourselves a little harder. I have tried throughout the challenge to get just this first bit, and tonight I managed!! 😁😁

Practise practise practise!
Getting my invert down was one goal I wanted to hit in 2018, and I kindof managed it by the skin on my teeth 😂
I have spent a fair bit of time this year practising inverts, as being heavier than average, its a bit harder for me 😥
BUT I DID IT!
And not just once, but consecutively 😍😍 next: handspring or shoulder mount 😂😂

These were my least favourite pics from the shoot. Why post them you ask? Because this body, no matter how big, still hauled it's. entire. self. up that goddamn pole, and held the pose long enough for photos to be taken.

I still love each and every one of these poses, and my goals are to use these as before photos to compare side by side one day in the not too distant future with my on track to success photos.
And yes I know there will be haters with their vomitty faces and what not. But I'd like to see you put up your insecurities for the world to see. You have flaws just like me. I just embrace them, and let them be a teaching moment for those who might need a bit of a push to improve their lives. I'm here to help people - what's your excuse?

Omg I loved this workout let me tell you. I woke up with a knot and thought the day it seemed to hurt worse. I was considering not dping the workout because it was pretty sore 😞😞 but🔥that fire in me was like lets get this done so thats exactly what I did. It actually felt better also to get moving!😁😁😁😁😁 #movealong#movement#excersize
So, before I start sharing some holiday snaps from last weekend, here's my new bike that I've just picked up. I haven't owned a bike in 15 years, preferring the smaller, simpler unicycle, but time has come and now I need a bike.

My baby girl kept me up from 1 am until I had to go to work this morning. Do you wanna know what that makes me? TIRED. That's what! She was fine, she was just up like it was day time. I knew when I started to hear birds chirping that I wasn't going to get any sleep. Oh the teething sleep disturbances... I would be fine if I didn't have to work. Oh well.
Tonight I actually cooked for my fiance and I. He is the cook around here.. but he hold me he has never had shepards pie before. It's not traditional, but I made mine with beef and bacon. Let me tell you. It is so good.
I also got in a shower workout after I got home from work. I was motivated by seeing the scale go down. My little changes are making little changes. I'm still heavier than I want to be but I'm going to get to my goal at a healthy pace.

Never underestimate the power of high heels.
Sorry I havent been posting this week;
6 days ago I was in a wedding and decided to wear heels, long story short I went over 12 hours in them which I hadn't done in a while and ended up with this ankle injury. I didnt twist it or roll it , I literally ended the night almost crawling back to the hotel, and then woke up with a sore ankle. I worked out this week with intention, didnt run due to the soreness, but I'm still stuck after icing and resting a little.
Guess I'll have to train in heels before the next formal event.
