Sawadee kha from Bangkok 🇹🇭
First picture from my first trip in 2020, and wow it feels so good to be back to traveling 😍 Not my first time in Thailand though but getting to rediscover a place 5 years later with new eyes is always so pleasant too ✨ can’t wait to show you everything we’ve been up to, stay tuned and don’t forget to look at my stories as well for even more Thai content 📸 do you like going back to a place you already know sometimes? Or only exploring new ones?
📍Loha Prasat ⏰ 9am - no need to get there earlier, we were alone until 11am as the place is not very touristy!
Watching ✈️ takeoff or land (or “Plane Spotting as the regulars call it) is a tradition afforded to #Bajans due to the close proximity of the landing strip to the public road. #airplane fans can stand from the sidewalk or even from their houses and capture the planes flying in 😃
There was an interesting study that I came across recently, about a professor who wanted to lose 27 pounds in two months.
His goal wasn't only to lose weight, it was to prove something fundamental
That in weight loss, pure calorie counting is what matters most not the nutritional value of food 🍕🍉🎂🍏 This meaning that he only cared about the number of calories in the food and not about what kind of food it was 🔢
The professor, Mark Haub is a professor of human nutrition at Kansas State University and he had a unique approach indeed 🙇
He went on the convenience store diet 😳
Now before you go wild and begin to google 'Convenience store diet' allow me to elaborate on what he did.
And a variety of other items found in a convenience store, I'm sure you can imagine what... 😉
The only thing is that Haub limited himself to eating less than 1,800 calories per day of the food that he ate
Two months ticked by and… 🕐 ...he lost a bit of weight…
27 pounds in two months to be exact.
The amazing thing is that you may think that his health suffered…
The reality so was totally different... The "bad" cholesterol known LDL Haub had dropped by 20%. The "good" cholesterol known as HDL had increased by 20%. Overall his body fat reduced by 39 percent.
So what does this mean?
That if you're overweight you are most likely overweight due to the amount of food that you eat not necessarily the quality of food that you eat.
This is why I don't believe in diets.
If you consume 3000 calories being a vegetarian, vegan or doing Paleo and your goal is weight loss, this isn't going to allow you to lose weight.
So people who think that sticking to a Meal plan or a diet is going to be your savior… you're mistaken.. I mean if you want to do it and work wayyyy to hard for your results with the chance of stopping due to a lack of motivation as you have to fight your way through temptations… go for it.
My clients and I will enjoy your favorite foods and still get results for you 😈😊
