  • The moment we start blaming - we lose.

The moment we pass on responsibility to someone or something else - we lose.

As long as we keep swinging, keep trying, keep experimenting, keep holding faith and keep enjoying the process - WE WIN.

Life’s not all about winning all the time, it’s about enjoying the process - ENJOY the losses, enjoy the hard stuff, because it’s ultimately sculpting you into the person you need to be to get what you want.

If you’re someone out there right now who is in the trenches feeling defeated - KEEP SWINGING.

Have fun with. It’s life.

Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.

Enjoy both.

  • I have failed many many times. There were times when the failure mattered so little I didn’t care. And at times, it mattered, so so much that I kicked myself over and over again. But I do not decide what works and what doesn’t. I decide what I desire and how much effort I put toward it. Have a fun week... I’m back from holidays and will speak like a veld 🔥 fire... if you know what a veld is!

  • “Often what holds us back from trying again is a fear of failure.” (Alain De Botton) And where does this come from? Prompt punishment by whoever? Or by our inner strict parental voice? I believe only from figuring out - which is a highly fulfilling and intense process - can we stretch ourselves and actually make huge process. We might not always necessarily reach our ultimate goals but we have for sure made achievements on our way. Often we are so focused on what we want to ultimately achieve - and I am quite impatient here I must admit - that we think it hasn’t worked out. I have been learning to be patient and to continue to give my all. Why I remain motivated is not the “over eager I can do it!” mentality but by regularly assessing my progress. What has worked out, what hasn’t? What has proven to be unexpectedly challenging? What other ways are there? This gives me so much clarity. Besides consulting a mentor, I also enjoy using a different ego when analyzing whenever I feel too much attached to my approaches. I choose whatever personality I find inspirational and credible. What would he/she do?
