5 Great Reasons to Vacation like a Local in Costa Rica this July:
Meet Costa Rican families on Vacation. All schools have a 2-3-week vacation period in July and you’re very likely to meet some of them as you travel around the country. It’s a great way to learn about our culture and Costa Rica’s friendly people, known as some of the happiest in the world!
Wow what an amazing holiday with the family💕 we were lucky enough to travel with our whole family and no one loved it more than Elijah.
Every day I asked him what was his favourite thing to do and everyday his response was “play with my cousins” Oh the memories he has taken from this experience are ones I’m sure will last for a lifetime💕 not only has he gained amazing memories but he has just grown up and become so independent throughout this trip I mean I’ve hardly seen him he only wants to hang out with his cool cousins apparently I’m not cool enough anymore. He has learnt lots of new ways of being, instead of saying thank you he says it in Fijian “vinaka” and when I ask him to do something he says “sure man” 😂 which I’m sure is an influence from his cousins😆
He has become so confident saying Bulla to everyone and has just loved the freedom.
Oh and apparently my earrings look like street cleaners😂😂 (according to Elijah)
It will be interesting trying to implement routine when we get back home🤔
So much going on lately I have been a bit absent from posting. And it will be sporadic for a while. Getting ready to fly back to Florida for Ann’s Celebration of Life service and spending a few extra days with my brother.
We also had a wonderful visit with my step son and his family visiting SOCAL earlier this month at Disneyland, La Jolla and the sea lions/seals at the cove, beach time, etc.
Other than a necklace and bracelet for Ann’s service (I have to take photos), jewelry making is taking a short leave of absence. That WILL turn around when I get back to a more regular routine!
