My lifestyle has become part of my routine, the same with you guys!♥️

Breaking a routine is hard and it takes time for a new routine to sink in!🙊
.
.
So how?! 👇
.
.
Dont change it all at once, for example maybe your morning routine is getting up for work leaving the house and grabbing a cinnamon roll and a latte from strabucks 🙊... You do this everyday, it's aeroplane mode to you. This works for you so make a small change --get up change one thing, have a nutrious breakfast, go to Starbucks and get a coffee. You haven't completely changed the routine that makes you comfortable, but you've taken a step to change. 💙

Not only this you've started the day with something positive, this can be adapted around ANY behaviour, maybe you smoke 3 ciggerettes or snooze your alarm 3 times 💖
.
.
Starting your day with a positive hit has a domino effect for the rest of the day... What's something you want to change this week? There's still time to join my new year challenge!! 👇

If you think you can't you're going to be right.... There's 6 weeks between these photos! 😬😬... This was my BREAKING point of prep... I was about to make the decision to quit or continue. 👇Yup I nearly QUIT my prep 🙊

Left photo- i had the option to quit or do the bikini category as I just didn't quite look like a fitness girl.... Which I'd actually been advised by many to do.... Even after putting so much effort into my offseason!!! Or I could follow my heart and use the tools I had to give it my BEST shot... You have to play to your strengths- I find achieving CONDITION easier than anything else. 🛠️

Always making progress June- last week... This is my LEAN GROW PHASE 🙏

Things I've learnt through training... I am always learning, but through trail and error.... My training gets smarter week by week 💚❤️
.
.
1. If you're training to your MAX every training session it's highly unlikely you're actually training to your MAX... You might be giving it your all but if it's your exhausted all... It's not your actual max. What people don't see is the boring sessions, that are focused around recovery, 85% effort isolation work, stretching, mobility.... That's what gets you training the Max.... But you won't be maxing out every session🙏

2. Being distracted, you might go to the gym with your phone for example and reply to a text mid session, which shifts your 100 percent focus... If you're focus is wishy washy you're not giving all your efforts... If you're pushing your limits you need focus... Which means no gym chat, headphones, aeroplane mode... Even for me sometimes 0 music. ✌️

3. Having a progressive overload plan in place.... You cannot get better at some thing without doing the same thing over and over #boring I know 😐. If you do a different workout every session you're not training to your full potential. 💪
.
.
4.  Neglecting your nutrition... This is UNDER or OVEREATING... Fueling your training is imperative... Thats being fueled and not fatigued, food that helps my sleep hygiene, foods that give me energy for performance, foods that digest well, taking in enough water and micronutrients 👀
.
.
5. Having a plan, but a plan that is FLEXIBLE, your lifestyle needs to be fun, it needs to make you feel good, it needs to include things that make you mentally happy. If your plan can adapt, nothing can stop you 💖
.
.
What people don't see is the detail, details add up and that's what creates the end result ✌️
Most importantly the best muscle you can work is your mind... The physically strongest athletes usually just have the strongest mindset 💞 .

Here's a thought... Those important work meetings you have to go to this week... Well if it was optional I BET you would say 'I don't have time to go to them' 👀

This week I challenge you  to treat 2-3 workouts a week like work meetings... Schedule them in and get them done 🙏

.
Usually, the number one reason busy weeks are stressful is lack of planning... Set 10 minutes aside this morning to empty your mind into your diary and set a structure that you can stick to! 🔥

.
.... And most of all stick to it! ✌️
