  • Happy Easter Meal Prep! It was fun trying to meal prep with my mom and dad! It was very quick, but they are all set for the week! If you didn’t catch my previous post, my parents easter basket was a shopping trip to @aldiusa and then a weeks worth of meal prep. Can you believe all of these meals cost only $47 for the whole week!! I spend that much on myself going out with friends! This week they are having my Chunky Monkey over night oats, a hummus, veggie and pita chip protein box, spinach salad with lots of toppings, and a home made trail mix with almonds, dried cherries and chocolate chips! Happy Easter everyone!

Here's how it went down...after stretching and core, I did 3 rounds of each circuit and then drop sets on the machines. Ready? It's a loooong one. I was determined to destroy my legs tonight. 😅☠

  • Ohh love this filter! A check in on my rest day which is great as it’s horrible weather today! Reading through some posts and man there is some negative posts out there! Free to voice your opinion but don’t be an asshole 😳 Everyone has a journey and some take different roads to get there. If youre training for a competition then you’re in your own league and though mine was a novice beginners comp unless you been there and up on stage you certainly can’t imagine what it’s like and how hard girls/guys find it. Don’t fitshame it’s nasty. And then on the flip side putting others down who don’t do what you do because you think you know everything come on...take your head out of your own ass and show appreciation. I think we all need to back off a little and just relax. Enjoy peoples posts stop judging cause you look and sound ugly. #keepitreal #positive #alwayschoosekind #dontbeugly

  • Oh, hey, that's a lot of skin, which is scary, but I'm over here embracing my loose skin and changing body as best I can, so this is what my sweaty self looked like, so this is what I'm going to post tonight. Sometimes it is crazy to imagine squeezing anything else into my pretty jam packed days, but when something comes up that's important to me, I do my best to make it work. 🧗‍♂️ Since we put the rock wall up for our family, the adults have hardly used it. Mostly because it isn't finished, and even when we get all the holds up that we do have, we will still need to expand some day. But tonight after a half hour of high intensity cardio followed by a half hour of yoga, I made time to monkey around on the #homeclimbingwall sorting out problems I wanted to recreate from the gym. This is a great way to build muscle and expertise, and I hope to incorporate it more often into my schedule. Also, today was a long day with family, good food, and yummy indulgences. So back to the grind because that's what feels good for my body. 🧗‍♂️ Kids, work, the gym, indoor climbing, outdoor climbing, hiking, evening workouts, yoga, boating, meal prep and cooking, reading, my husband, friendships... it can be hard to squeeze all that is important to a person into 24 hours, and to prioritize correctly. But when you learn how much life it gives you to twist things around, sometimes incomprehensibly, to make time for what is important to you, you quickly realize there's no giving in and letting go. You'll make it happen. Choosing fitness has been the single greatest choice of my life.  This lifestyle has EMPOWERED me in incredible ways, and has opened doors I didn't think were possible. My self-esteem has drastically improved, my health (minus my bum back) is stellar, and these wonderful, wonderful endorphins can turn an awful day into the greatest one. Choose fitness. It's not a feeling, it's not a constant flow of motivation -- it is a choice. It's either a priority in your life or it's not. I LOVE the person I have transformed myself into, and you can too. 👉 There will always be valleys, but the hills can be simply incredible. 👈 It is so, so worth it.

  • Early morning run on Easter! 
Today was a Rest Day according to my regular workout Calendar, but I decided to go for a run this morning. I need to get some running in during the next month, so this morning was a good opportunity. I'm not really a runner, but weather was beautiful this morning, around 55 degrees and the sun was still coming up. I was able to fit in 3 miles and then quite due to time.

I followed it with a 15 minute Ab workout to keep up with my friends in our #ABSQUAD Accountabilty group. It was great to take the workout outside...such a beautiful moring.

I had to get done in time to go buy some last minute Easter candy and do grocery pickup before kids woke up.

    Today was a Rest Day according to my regular workout Calendar, but I decided to go for a run this morning. I need to get some running in during the next month, so this morning was a good opportunity. I'm not really a runner, but weather was beautiful this morning, around 55 degrees and the sun was still coming up. I was able to fit in 3 miles and then quite due to time.

  • Day 130! I’ve gotten pretty good about making preparations for trips. I’m flying to Vegas for a wild girls (lol #honesty) weekend today. I packed portable foods because I will eat a protein bar in the club. Don’t 👏🏼 play 👏🏼 with 👏🏼 me!
