This Masked Crimson Tanager (Ramphocelus nigrogularis) seemed to enjoy fluffing up its feathers, almost in the same manner as if it were in water taking a bath. Maybe it was just showing off for me.
One thing you can just get a little glimpse of here is that, in addition to to the bright crimson that adorns their underparts, neck, and head, the Masked Crimson Tanager also has another bright crimson patch on their rump. You can just see a little bit of that here, above its fluffed up wings and below the tail feathers.
