I brought skipping rope and resistance bands, and was planning to combine it with bodyweight training, but... I was happy to discover Kettlebells in the attic! I totally forgot we had them. Old and rusty kettlebells, beautiful weather, birds are singing... what can be better than that...🙏🏼

  • How do you know what to do for a workout? ⁠⠀

We tend to overcomplicate this part of our health and fitness. Just because your favorite fitspo is doing something that looks incredibly complex on their instagram story DOES NOT mean you need to do some crazy hard compound movement on a Bosu ball all while wearing a booty band to get results. That shit intimidates me and I have been working out regularly for a long time.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
You just need to move while doing something you enjoy! For me that is lifting weights and running. For you it might be yoga or long walks, it could be an intense EMOM. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how or when. ⁠⠀

So keep it simple and fun. Bring a friend along and just get moving!⁠⠀

  • After close to 2 hours we conquered the 5k Foam Fest! We left tired out, head to toe in bubbles and mud. We also left feeling strong and satisfied! 💪🏻👌🏻 thank you for introducing me to this new fitness adventure! This morning I wrapped up a 13-week training program. I ❤️ it so much I’ve done it 3 times!⁣

I’m down 11.5 inches and a few pounds. What!!??⁣
I had strength gains all around. Especially core and glutes.⁣
I feel proud, confident and ready for Monday!⁣
⁣
Next up…⁣
More running + 100 new video workouts  for cross-training.⁣
⁣
Strength, cardio, mobility, recovery.⁣
20-30 minute workouts I can do anywhere.⁣
2 people modifying every move, so I can figure all this new stuff out.⁣
A simple nutrition plan with easy recipes.⁣
⁣
Many of my friends started the workouts 3 weeks ago and are raving about it.⁣

I can’t wait to join them!⁣

  • Accidentally bashed one of these out in class on Thursday, decided to check if it was a fluke after class... guess my shoulder’s better. And somehow this feels stronger after 2 months off 🤷🏻‍♀️ I thought about revideoing to get it without my feet falling out of the shot but I’m not gonna push my luck - I’d rather not reinjure myself immediately after recovering!

Today marks the start of my 9th month pregnant and I feel better than I have the whole pregnancy ☺️! I've read that the third trimester is the hardest, but I guess it's also so true that everyone's experience is different. Because despite some soreness in my back and leg cramping, I feel really good.
